Question about the scoring. [Disclaimer: This is a free event, thanks very much for organizing, and we're all just playing for fun here!] In the first round I finished 3rd in my group, with a total just 1 board behind 1st. But now, my scores against players who did not advance have been thrown out, and I am suddenly in 11th place, with only the top 4 finishers in this round advancing? How did that happen? You've removed 3 of my scores that happened to be good, and kept all my worst scores. This affected each player to a different degree, in a way which was mostly unpredictable. It seems... capricious. If we're going to carry over scores at all, why not carry over all the scores? Apologies if this topic has come up before and I missed it.
