  1. 3♦ is fixed in next update - -- 4+ ♦; 9- total points
  2. Was it Basic Robot. Advanced/Tourney Robot seems to bid 4♦ after 4♣?
  3. 3♣ missing explanation is - Aggressive weak jump overcall -- 7+ ♣; 10- HCP; 3+ total points GIB simulated to reopen with X, otherwise book bid is Pass. But after sim it almost always reopens likely due 17TP. No chance GIB to predict human is making preempts with GF values.
  4. Thanks for reporting. It's due bug. Fixed in next version.
  5. Corrected to ".. invite", than ".. minimum".
  6. 3♦ is related with 2♠/2n/3♣ descriptions. 2♠/2NT descriptions and the followups will be addressed for polishing.
  7. As SupX has priority GIB won't skip it with 4♠3♥. So 1NT description is fixed to 2♥. Also prevented GIB to use 2♣ with less of 4 cards. So in the case below it would likely use 2♦(NMF as having 12TP) or Pass. 14+ cards issue will be addressed too, but not that quick fix.
  8. Not related with this reopening in the example. At least at the moment.
  9. Fixed for new version (v25). It will pick the ♦A instead of pretending having ♣A
  10. 3♣ ( or cuebiding opening ) would show the points to force up.
  11. Hand#1 and similar with good 6th minor were tweaked in last update, so it will be opening hands.
  12. Thanks for reporting. It will be addressed and improved in next update. It will promise likely 6+ and something below 16-TP/12-16TP as with more GIB/Partner will supposedly bid it already.
  13. Thanks for reporting. 2♣ is correct indeed as matches 2N rebid explanation 22-24HCP while 2NT opening is 20-21HCP. There was a bug for passing 2NT. Fixed for next update.
  14. Thanks for reporting. Actually, there was a bug causing the pass of North. It's fixed for the next version.
  15. Fixed in next version. The issue was GIB used to find rebidding suit rule if stuck. Now it would continue with 4N ( quantitative 19-20HCP ).
  16. Fixed for next version. The bug was triggered with exactly 2nd length when there is opening spade. Anyway would double now with that hand. There was also underlying bug happening with similar hand GIB where considered 1NT ( which is 11-15HCP) so 2 bugs in one, although it didn't happen here, but could be next time.
  17. It has a point, as passing hand which uses 1NT after major opening lefts opener to pass with 13 or less TP. Unpassed hand forces 100% opener if uses 1NT.
  18. Fixed. It will show now -- 4+ ♦; 9- total points same for ♥ in this auction Actually GIB would bid it with 0-3TP, but explanation showed different.
  19. Thanks for reporting. It will be fixed.
  20. I didn't say that's the perfect call. I've just gave more information why GIB stopped to 4♥. And how many TP GIB finds for that hand. Also i've mentioned that it will be improved. I don't recall saying GIB doesn't follow its internal logic. GIB follows strictly particular rules and could deviate after simulation around other rules. There might be not dozens, but thousands hands where GIB does something inaccurate, but it doesn't mean it bids randomly in general. I hardly believe there is at least one person posting in this GIB forum who never opens or overcalls with 4 cards, 1NT with 14HCP, 2NT with 18-19HCP, 2♣ with optimistic values and etc. Human makes assumption based on his knowledge and 6th sense, GIB based on rules and sometimes simulation. Of course, that there are variety of counting and evaluation of any hand based on current calls, possession in hand as well. The hand as example is stronger and therefore not well evaluated, but to be evaluated as such there must be information which GIB to match and consider. One hand is stronger based on shortness, another is stronger based on two fits, third based on just points and so on. So it needs more then "Hey, bid slam here!". It needs followups, which will be added.
  21. You can't accumulate HCP and TP in shortness. Let's say you hold ♠QJ ♥KJ ♦AKQx ♣Qxxxx - 18HCP and how many TP? According to your saying it's 20TP , correct? What i mean under exceptional hand is it has 20HCP ( and still 20TP ) but too good just to follow the limit. The better continuation will be improved in one of the next updates.
  22. Seems good exceptional case, but GIB needs 21TP(having 20here despite all these controls) to gear up to 4N, as opener promised only 12 ( yet ). Currently fixed explanation to be 17-20 instead of unlimited.
  23. Currently for GIB if uncontested new suit at 2nd level seems limited 9-13TP although not limited in explanation. With 14+/12+ it will jump to 3rd level/it will just bid if 3rd level comes without jump. Pinned for improvement, but morel likely in the other update. Forthcoming is almost closed and ready.
  24. Thanks. Fixed in next update which is coming soon.
  25. The case with rebidding simply 2♣ is fixed. Most of the fixes directly reflect on the Basic Robot, Advance Robot has some capability to avoid them unless it's general bug.
