  1. Thanks for reporting this. It would be worked on for next version to be avoided as much as possible partner to drop in trouble 1NT overcaller in exposed major via transfer. Espesically if that's the contract which is about to stay.
  2. Yes, thanks for reporting. Passing 1NT or 2NT with range points like 15HCP or 11HCP has been fixed in next version (v27). That means actually balanced hands, not hands where transfers could be used.
  3. Fixed not to use Stayman ( as here ignoring spade length shown by opener) and use it only with other major 4th. As here having 5 cards it would transfer with 2♦ as other major is not reasonable to show with using Smolen conv later. But after 1♣/1♦ - 1NT it would continue with 2♣ Stayman.
  4. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in v27.
  5. Thanks for reporting. It used to be a bug with max quant. invites after NT openings. It's fixed in next v27. Would use appropriate 4NT described as 10-11HCP
  6. Fixed in v27. Falls under 2♣ range.
  7. Thanks for reporting. It will be addressed for improvement of opening TOX and cuebid better followons. It's weird how auctions proceeds for sure.
  8. Bug fixed in next v27. Issue was GIB miscounts 3rd or 4th seats and mixes explanations limiting doubler. That applied only after 3rd seat opening and Doubler later introduces new suit. It used to be: i.e. (p) - (p) - 1♥ - Double (p) - 1NT - * - 2♠- -- 5+ ♠; 11- HCP Now will be i.e. (p) - (p) - 1♥ - Double (p) - 1NT - * - 2♠- -- -- 5+ ♠; 17+ HCP
  9. In theory it shouldn't pass, even in MP scoring events. However just in case pass is disabled in next v27.
  10. It's addressed for improvement for next v27. 1minor - 4Major is currently defined as solid suit 7+ and 13TP exactly. 1minor - 3Major is Splinter. 4♥ over 1♠ after minor opening carries same meaning. 4Major after 1minor opening followed by 1major and 1NT rebid means 6+ cards and 12-16TP. I mean (uncontested) - 1♣ - 1♥ - 1NT - 4♥ etc.
  11. Thanks for reporting. Fixed about balancing huge hand but calm overcall. Applied for next v27.
  12. Well, GIB treats this a bit differently. It's 5+♣ natural suit and 10-16TP or so. 3♣ used to be a glitch while GIB raises partner suit but opponent also shows length there so it would pass or double depend on strength. Another custom agreed bid which GIB has not included in system. It's taken as: Aggressive weak jump overcall -- 7+ ♦; 10- HCP; 3+ total points
  13. Thanks for reporting. It used to be a bug with raising natural overcall on level 2 ( with no jump ) and partner fitting it. Should be ok since v26. So the displayed partner-north would bid 3♥ instead of pass ( 3+ ♥; 7-10 total points ).
  14. Thanks for reporting. Just typo in explanations cased GIB shows quite different hand. Fixed in next v27. 3♥ would be - -- 6+ ♥; 7-11 HCP; forcing to 3N That is supposedly hand having some shortness in hand. It's not 6322 shape.
  15. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in next v27.
  16. After passed hand 2minor natural maxhand call, but none-forcing bid, opener's bids below rebidded opening (likely 2♦/2♥ if opening spades ) are limited 12-15TP. I.e. P - P - 1♠ - P 2♣ - P - 2♦ - New suit -- 4+ ♦; 5+ ♠; 11+ HCP; 12-15 total points Bidding this with 18HCP should be a bug in previous version and fixed in v26(current one).
  17. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in next v27. Would not tend to prefer major with bad or unclear fit instead of let partner find better minor game. Would use 2NT.
  18. Despite shape of North, which looks tempting to bid 5 something, is that double take out? And why, if take out, partner missed to give it initially, but wants to to push pair in 5th level in unfavorable vulnerability? Btw, according to GIB CC, TOX are up to 4♠ unless maybe opening.
  19. Thanks for reporting. It's fixed in next v27. Would pass as not strong enough to double. But won't raise ignoring shown length by opponent.
  20. Thanks for reporting. Fixed in next version v27. Problem was how GIB evaluates trumps holding in opening preparing for trap-pass.
  21. That was a bug in v25. Should be fixed since v26 ( current at the moment ).
  22. Thanks for reporting and sorry for the delay. That applies for all 1minor - 1 other minor/1major 1major - 3opening minor invite 3NT Explanations adjusted so it shows now: assuming auction is - Pass 1♣ - 1♦ 1♥ - 3♣ 3NT 3♣ - Invitational jump raise -- 4+ ♣; 4+ ♦; 3- ♥; 10-12 total points 3NT - -- 3+ ♣; 4 ♥; 14-19 HCP; 22- total points; likely stop in ♠ for shown auction - Pass 1♦ - 1♥ 1♠ - 3♦ 3NT 3♦ - Invitational jump raise -- 4+ ♦; 4+ ♥; 3- ♠; 11- HCP; 10-12 total points 3NT - -- 4+ ♦; 3- ♥; 4 ♠; 14-19 HCP; 22- total points; likely stop in ♣ 3NT has a meaning of likely termination call, so GIB is not supposed to abandon and raise up 3NT after minor invite completed with NT.
  23. 1♠ 4♠ 4NT is not defined currently. 1/2♠ 2/3♠ 4NT is defined as 5+5+minors 2♠ 4♠ 4NT is also 5+5+ minors 3♠ 4♠ 4NT was supposed to show 4+4+4+ in unbid suits. That's why GIB bidded 5♥ thinking there is a higher fit then clubs. Similar for hearts unless 3♥ 4♥ 4NT is 5+5+ minors. It will be synchronized in next version.
  24. At the moment GIB would do this with either balanced GF+ or quite stronger 4+fit hand. These are hands over splinter range as at the moment splinter is limited hand for GIB 13-16TP. Emphasizing 4+ suit and 9+ trumps. If you had give a chance on the sequence by bidding 3♥ shortness, GIB would continue with 3♠ showing the stronger hand 16+ and cuebidding might help.
