  1. Oh Fred you are right, I solve the problem by restarting my computer... :) Thx!
  2. Thx Fred. Yes, I've entered the bidding already. I've tried the hand editor before, just don't have the problem I'm facing now.
  3. After I manually assign cards to four players, I can't play any card. I don't have this problem in the last version of web-client BBO. Is anyone having the same problem?
  4. Thanks for the replies. :) Right, I've neglected one point. When people jump to 6 he usually won't have 12 tricks. he expects something from partner. So my partner should have presupposed I have something. I don't have agree with this partner so I don't assume we are using Lebensohl.
  5. One more question: If partner bid 5♣ instead of 6, should I bid 6♣? And why? Is there any different between the 6♣ bid and the 7♣ bid?
  6. Sorry, let me clarify my point. I mean even I have no HCP I am still "forced" to bid something. The Clubs KJ10 is extra value IMO.
  7. OK, let's me explain my thought. I am South. The first two bid of mine is forced, so when my partner jump to 6♣, I think my partner think that we can make 6♣ without the trump K. Now I have the trump K plus the J (the singleton spade is also a push factor), so I bid 7. IMO, I think North should bid 5♣ but not 6, his two forcing bid has already shown his value.
  8. Please refer to the hand diagram: http://www.bridgebase.com/tools/handviewer...P3HP4CP6CP7CPPP Please comment on the bidding. Has someone overbid?
  9. Fred, thx for your quick reply, but it seems not working for me. I still can't edit the deal directly. What I have to do now is to save a deal to a folder (let's say TEMP), open hand editor, click "Deal source" >> "use saved deal" and select the folder TEMP. Then I click "Redeal" and I can edit the saved deal. But it's not convenience at all. Or did I miss any steps? Thx again for the fascinating handviewer. Well done, Fred! :D
  10. I love the hand editor, but when I export my deal to it, I cannot alter the bidding and the play. What I can do is simply adding comments. Sometimes I want to alter the bidding and the play so that I can demonstrate somethings, e.g. the correct play, etc., I have to manually replicate the hand into the hand editor which I think is troublesome. By adding the function of editing saved deal, the hand editor will become much more useful. :)
  11. Right. Thanks for correcting me. ♥A should be led for 6♦ or 6NT to be made.
  12. Thanks for all replies. :o I think Lebensohl can solve the problem. But now I wonder if it is profitable to reserve the X for penalty. We can bid 3♥ or 2NT then 3♥ to ask for spades, using X for t/o seems less attractive. At the table i thought the X is for penalty so i passed and received a 30% board for 2HX-1. For those who are curious, the 4 hands are [hv=d=s&v=b&n=sa873htdkqj85ca84&w=sqjthaj97653d4c95&e=s642hq4d962cjt762&s=sk95hk82dat73ckq3]399|300|Scoring: MP[/hv] 6♦ can be made by squeezing West. :(
  13. [hv=d=s&v=b&n=sa873htdkqj85ca84&s=sk95hk82dat73ckq3]133|200|Scoring: MP[/hv] 1N - (2H) - ?? What should north bid here? Is 3♦ forcing or not? 6♦ or 6♠ seems possible (from north's view). How should the bidding go on? Thanks.
  14. how about 5♠? I think 5♠ should be slam forcing, and let partner choose.
