I thought you were supposed to lead a trump against a grand?

I wish I would have looked up North's 2nt bid to see what it meant. I just assumed it was balanced with stoppers.

Why 3 diamonds would show 17-20 points in a competitive auction is beyond me (x,AK, KQJxxxx, xxx must pass?). And the whole point of posting this is that the 4 heart bid is described as rebiddable hearts in an auction where I have shown 21-22 points and diamonds according to GIB.

The bidding is correct. I shouldn't have said jumped. The issue is why didn't the bot bid 4 diamonds when I showed diamonds and 21-22? Four hearts is insane.

Double was described as biddable spades, not showing 3 card support. I bid 3 spades which was described as diamonds and 21-22 points. The insane bot jumped to 4 hearts which is described as: 11- HCP; twice rebiddable heart; 6-12 total points.

GIB is programmed to not lead your risked-my-life-lead-directing-overcall suit especially when it can lead the jack from Jxx of an indifferent suit to hand them the contract.

It wasn't. Those are my scores for the six hands I had played. I wish they had duplicate scoring for Bridge 4. I also wish someone knew how that game is scored. It makes no sense, unless I have a glitch happening in my system. For instance, I'll play four hands and get a cumulative score over a thousand on the leaderboard, then play four more hands where I rack up some games and watch my leaderboard score drop to 128. Why isn't there an explanation of the game somewhere, either on that web site or in this forum?

If that ever happens I will report it. So far, however, all I've seen is flawless defense. These robots always find killing leads and get their ruffs for the setting trick. Can anyone give info on Bridge 4 scoring. As far as I can tell it is not imps nor duplicate.

LHO spurned his diamonds to lead the Jack from jxx. This double dummy lead is straight out of Bridge in the Menagerie. Of course I misplayed AQ9x vs Kxx when another line was possible. As a newbie perhaps someone could explain Bridge 4 scoring to me. I'm baffled as to strategy.

When the robots routinely double dummy defense (I can give many examples) is it playing good bridge to get out for down one?

I did. And I should have said Gib bid a 7-6 3nt.

76 AQ64 AKT752 Q Red vs White I open one Diamond. With opponents passing throughout partner replies 1 spade. I continue 2 diamonds. It replies 3 clubs. I say 3 hearts and it signs off with a 7-5 three nt. Clubs are 5-1 with hearts and spade king offside so it is 2 down with heart 10 lead. Six spades makes, but AQT9543 is only worth mentioning once.

Solved. Firefox upgraded to 57.0 and now it works.

Yet it doesn't simply add the score as Just Play Bridge does. Instead there is some algorithm which produces odd results; You can have all plus scores on four hands and yet still post a minus score on the leaderboard. I don't find any rules or scoring explanation regarding Bridge 4 to explain this.

I don't understand the scoring. Is this duplicate scoring or what? What is the best play strategy?

I started Firefox in safe mode and then refreshed it with no luck either time. I am guessing that the problem is the latest version of Firefox 55.0.2
