i think the majority state their level too high. but i think this also has to do with the fact that some that are advanced will not accept intermediate or lower at their tables. so to find a game easier, some might just say advanced.

I have a slam try in our suit and youre saying a simple cuebid is an overbid? i admit im drunk but wtf are you smoking? i cant figure out if it was opened 1♦ and then 1♥ by opponents or if that sequence is without interference. I said NON important classes, like Home Economics or Music Appreciation or Health class (7th and 8th grade only, as it's a High School requirement to graduate in Ohio). Sorry but what makes bridge more important than those classes (health class??) I can think of some reasons it's less important. I can understand your reasoning for Health but Art or Music Appreciation do not give much value to an education outside of being more cultured.

After I play a hand and go to check my results tab, it is white. I thought this was because it failed to load but then it probably would show a timeout error. Instead the entire space is white. Any ideas?

I fixed the question. To be realistic, what percentage of "BBO experts" would solve all 30 level 1 problems at the table? My guess is it is still less than 10%. People make mistakes all the time. I just tried trial deal 1 at level 1. There were 9 top tricks in 3NT!? Ice-cold from the top, no finessing or anything. If the deals don't get harder than this... they get harder. maybe not at level 1. but try 4 and 5. they are hard.

on tilt from partner has been it lately. usually worry about some mistake i made that he tells me about. probably best if i just review everything at the end of the game.

in this sequence if 2♥ can be 3 card support i have played a relay with some partners that asks 3 or 4 card support and minimum or maximum hcp. as for game try or not, dont have much advice lol

im leading a small heart since its the only unbid suit. surely partner cant double 3nt with the cards in the other suits.

isnt that why people pick up a hobby in the first place. to have fun and get better. why pick up playing guitar unless you know what you are doing?

Two part question about benifits of analyzing hands after session and what to really analzye. My regular p and I play on BBO a lot and sometimes do really well and sometimes not but almost never talk about the hands afterwards. How benificial is this practice? We usually play about 30-40 boards so analyzing all of them is probably not feasible. What should we focus on if we do discuss them? considering the imp swings on bbo can be any number of things. strength of opps, bids on other tables that are x and xx, etc.

a rough estimate of the years. old, newer, somewhere in between. seems like a great but i might not have room :P

it needs more explanation. i am still confused. what do you compare it to? say the score is 420 for 4H making nonvulnerable. what is the equivalant score on the chart?

that 2p2 forum post has been up a long time. much like this thread. i think to get more young people involved it has to be taught more in schools and universities. out of 20-30 kids maybe 2-5 will continue to play. that might not seem like a lot but its a strong enough base for it not to die completely in the future.

by recommendation here i have "killing defense at bridge" by kelsey. i really really like it.

i chose double. someone has the clubs and i dont think 5s is a good idea with my hand. if p wants to pull the double thats up to them.
