My question was if 3D was forcing, then is 4D still Forcing? 1S--2D(2/1 GF) 2H--3D ( Forcing) 3H--4D----is this still FORCING?

In 2/1 GF system where repeat of responder suit is forcing ( for one more round), is 4D forcing in the following auction ?-- 1S-2D, 2H-3D, 3H-4D. Also I play that 2/1 GF means that we will attempt to get to 3M or 4Maj but not necessarily 5-minor, is this main stream?

In last 3 days saw two different 'experts' open 2C following xxx, KQJTxxx, AKxx, void and he announced Strong or 8.5 or more tricks. Another example AKQJXXXXX, VOID, X, AXX. In this case 2C was announced as strong I think THESE BIDS ARE NOT LEGAL PER ACBL. ACBL requires that 2C opening A) can not be psyched :rolleyes: has certain ( 17 ? ) HCPS. Some of Tds do not know this or fail to inforce this rule, pls clarify and let TDs know exactly what is permitted. I would like to see reponse to this. Thanks

Some of you had good suggestions etc. but wanted to know specifics so here it is. Tourny # 880 hand 10--on Jan19-Fri-ACBL-8pm--Match-points both-Red. As stated before passed hand had 3D bidders hand S-xxx, H-10xx. D-AKxx, C-xxx. So after P-P-1D-DBL, 3D- my pd & I asked several times & reply was initilly "support" and later after a few prodding reply was "support and I am a passed hand". When pd/I called Td she said that all we are entititled to. I asked can we know is this preempt or limit she said "NO". I think this is a very basic and TD should be able to decide as we are CERTAINLY entitled to know if 3d is weak or limit as most play weak but some as here was playing it as a limit raise. If a td does not know this very simple fact, he/she is then un-qualified--notwithstanding the fact--stated by some--that being td in acbl-bbo-tournys-is piece of cake ( seems sonme can't handle even that!!).

In my experience, as I play many ACBL hands with my students, there are certain players who make & play very unusual way ( READ IT AS SELF KIBITZ) and thus are cheating. Tho, removing kibitz wont remove all the cheating it will go a long way ( as w/o Kibitz one would need twoplyers to cooperate to cheat. Also, i dont see any need to kibitz the 2nd-3rd rate players( most of us in acbl) when there are many star players can be kibitz in main lobby. so PLEASE remove Kibizers

Both vul, MPs, p-p-p-1d, Dbl-3D- both I and my pd wanted to know if 3D is preempt, which we believe should be disclosed. 3D bidder refused and said Support ( what a good info). TD ruled in her favor saying she does not need to disclose anymore. I think this TD is totally un-qualified ( this is not the 1st time she made this kinda of ruling) as this TD does not know the basics of directing. Pls either check the TDs ( qualifications) or start a forum etc where players can register this. Thanks
