I was told he managed a bridge site with 135000 users, mainly handled disputes but play ed a lot as well not sure if this is right place but im guessing based on wahts on his netbook here.

My Dad passed away suddenly, this may not be the appropriate place for this but he loved bridge playing here I am just trying to get word out to people he knew and his friends, sorry if this is inappropriate place I dont know where to start.

Nowhere in bridge laws do I see undo for an exposed card. The undo for play should be eliminated because it is there even if director states undo for bids only. Allow 5 second for an undo bid request if partner not bid and no need for delay acceptnce At very least have the two options (bids and play)separate for directors. ACBL Law: A. Unintended Call 1. Until his partner makes a call, a player may substitute his intended call for an unintended call but only if he does so, or attempts to do so, without pause for thought. The second (intended) call stands and is subject to the appropriate law. 2. No substitution of call may be made when his partner has made a subsequent call. 3. If the auction ends before it reaches the player’s partner, no substitution may occur after the end of the auction period (see Law 22). 4. If a substitution is allowed, the LHO may withdraw any call he made over the first call. Information from the withdrawn call is authorized only to his side. There is no further rectification.

The Browser version still does not allow a player to participate in chat prior to tournament start so many simply keep the windows version for that reason.

In the new browser version the tournament room is closed until start. Many players like to visit the tournament room prior to start to socalize, ask questions, and visit. Directors like to post rules and chat. May we have the tournament room open prior to chat?

I was asked where the BBO points could be located by a person with a number 3. Looked all over the Useful links and Number description. Finally found the BBO points for all BBO games under ACBL Tournaments. Seems like they should be under Useful links and/or with the BBO awards number.
