With most clubs around the world closed due to Coronavirus BBO attendees increased incredibly. Turkish Bridge Federation is going to have a huge championship but there are few started complaing about cheaters before even the event starts. How can we make people stop accusing others with cheating on the fly? What do you suggest? Let’s all be nice and assume everyone is honest. If we are 100% sure, just blacklist that person and say nothing instead accusing. Thank you.

Due to Coronavirus Social isolation BBO is overwhelmingly crowded. I have been a member almost since the beginning and never witnessed so many frequent issues. Yet still its up and running however support staff must be very tired. If volunteer help needed I am available.

Whoever developed tested robot software needs to improve his/her bridge knowledge. Today at ACBL tourney robot opened 1 ♥ I asked keycards with 4n received 03 response and bid 6♠ . Robot bid 7♥ which I had to correct to 7♠ to go down 1 getting a bottom! Please comment your experiences with robot bidding and defence errors.

Sorry there was a problem with hand distribution on the initial post ! I corrected with right cards. Hope now it makes more sense

Results in history is extremely confusing,! I really wonder whoever designed/programmed this version checked it out from a player point of view. I get the impression the s/w designers and testers at BBO are not bridge players. The old result screen was perfect after each round

In goulash tourney opps bid 7d over our 6s bid which I doubled, all passed, I clicked on ace of hearts but noticed that my cards were reorganized and to my big surpris a small diamond was lead! This is a ridiculous s/w error leading a card not clicked. Apparently BBO s/w can remember the position of the card but not the actual card lead during hand reorganization! Another example of poor testing. Also after copying a text sometimes it impossible to write on chat box, because each new letter erases previous one so you can only send one letter chats! These problems occur on IPad app, TD function also doesn't work. Hope they are fixed next update. I feel that reorganizing the hand during lead is useless and unnecessary.

Several times my entry has been cancelled when my partner played at a another tourney , team game or disconnected. Would'nt be nice just replace the offending player with sitout and not punish the non-offending player?

3rd seat a star opened 1n with: ♠J105 ♥KJ98 ♦KQ1054 ♣K His pd bid 3N with 11HCP, with correct defence it would fail, after hand is finished I called the TD. No adjustments made since opps claimed their range is 14-17 and all bids were natural. Would you agree?

Would ♠J10xx ♥QXXX ♦X ♣KQxx qualify for 3rd seat opening? If you were a TD would you condiser this hand a psyche open or normal 3rd seat opening? Please only comment if you are qualified, thank you.

It is interesting that some do see anything wrong with the withdrawl after few very bad scores. I do. However, I agree with those who suggest to ban the pair NOT the team. The ban needs to be a very long one to discourage these types of behavior.

Indeed, but a sad incident occurred during the presentation tonight. When the American ladies received their gold medals on the podium, they displayed a poster with WE DIDN'T VOTE FOR BUSH Hardly the place for a politcal statement in my opinion. I never thought that something like this would happen in bridge circles. The question is now whether the WBF/ACBL/USBF will take some kind of action. I would hardly call this a "sad incident". I don't have a problem if celebrities chose to take an active role promoting different causes. There have been times when I wished a celebrity would shut the ^*$#& up, however, that generally occurs when I (a) agree with their position and (;) think that they are being inarticulate The US women's team (apparently) felt strongly enough about this subject that they chose to display a poster. So be it... I would consider any kind of action by the WBF or the USBF completely unreasonable. For what its worth, if I were hiring pros, I'd be a lot more likely to hire a member of this team after the incident in question than before it. I think that there is a great danger that foreigners will stop distinguishing between American citizens and the idiots running the White House. its useful to remind them that not everyone agrees with the chimp... I don't understand why a bridge player would get upset if another group of bridge players make a statement about their politicians. I have great respect to a great majority of Americans, however, I can not say the same about their president.
