I would agree that NS have no agreement to the 2D bid, hence there was no MI. I also do not see how there is any UI involved as well. I also fail to see how any of this damaged EW. Nothing illegal with NS managing to land on their feet into a 3NT contract.

If you're learning and trying to convert to Polish Club, just do it all at once. Yes, it will be painful for a while, but that's the best way I think.

I would think these are the few salient points: 1) Was there MI? It seems to me that NS had no agreement over a Polish Club and hence 2C was not the partnership agreement. (BTW I disagree that a polish club should be treated like a "standard" 1C bid.) 2) Did the MI damage EW? I would probably poll to decide. Also, I would look at how does EW handle interference over their 1C opening. 3) Did the offenders do anything serious to contribute to their own damage? I would probably say no, but that again depends on poll results/CC. I would most probably be in favour of a weighted score.

Sorry to break the flow of the discussion but just a thought that occured to me: How do you plan to treat 4M5m22s? Do you treat them as balanced if they have both doubleton honours?

I know something similar called German Bridge, which we used to play after lessons in high school....

I recognise music wherever I go, to the point where I will suddenly exclaim, "It's <blah blah>!" and my other friends will be like huh, you can hear the music? And since I listen to a fair bit of classical music, I'll probably recognise it. Edit: Bach's Chaconne is one of my favourite pieces, so no doubt, I will recognise it for sure.

I would assume the person put a number of fractions into a calculator, the others canceled out, and he didn't notice when he typed that it equalled a fraction. That's possible. Experience has proved that most people don't really recognize what fractions correspond to what percentages unless it's like 50% or 25% etc.
