What is your opinion on playing responsive doubles over pre-emptive opening bids with a raise? i.e. 2spades, x, 3spades, (is x here responsive? does it deny hearts and show the minors? or is it penalty?, etc.) If it does show the minors is there any case where you would pass and convert to penalty? Does your opinion change about playing responsive doubles if it's 2diamonds, x, 3diamonds or 2 hearts, x, 3hearts? Thanks

When your partner opens 2nt (playing a good 19 - 21) or 2c followed by 2nt (22-24), how do you handle 5/4, 4/5 or 5/5 in majors with bad, game and slam hands? Partnership plays transfers and puppet.

Now let's assume you choose to pass and it gets passed back to opener What do you do with this hand, AKJxxx, void, Jx, AKxxx? Do you re-open or do you bid some number of clubs? What are the guidelines for re-opening x's? (i.e. don't with a void in opps suit, don't with 3 or more, don't with a bad hand, etc.)

It's been a week since I used the newer version but I think it was the cards of the current trick in the middle of table overlapping dummy and my cards too. Anyway, it annoyed me enough that I reinstalled the older "classic" version from the web site.

Thanks for getting back to me. My resolution is 768 (I don't really want to change it for other reasons) and I do have bbo window maximized. I guess I'll just wait and hope you can make changes so big cards work under these settings when the new version is released to the general population. I understand you can't make everyone happy so thanks for trying!

Hi, I tried the "earlier" version of the "new" version. I like to use big deal and when I did the cards overlapped the dummy cards. As a result I went back to using 4.8.3. Is this fixed now?
