in the auction 2♣-2♦ 2♥-2♥ my mentor told me 2♥is artificial and waiting while if 2NT(in place of 2♥) it would show ♠5 Does anyone play this? my mentor told me that the 3rd new suit in natural bidding is usually artificial. eg 1♥-1♥-3♣! if anyone knows this, could you explain why it is devised this way?

Hi, Does anyone have good advice to high level bidding competitions? any tips would be great. What do you think of law of total tricks and in what situations would you think twice even if the law says you should bid on?

I play reverse in this sequence as not showing extra. it's important for partner to know that you have 5+!D when you rebid 2!D, so when you do not, you bid your 4 card major.
