Hello Fred, meanwhile I discovered that forcing webclient to use "english version" (via "?lang=en" in URL) solves the problem and the link appears on the screen almost instantly as you wrote. So the problem is somehow related to the czech version that is automatically in use when I use the yellow link from the page www.bridgebase.com. Ad 1) The handviewer link doesn't appear even if I wait for several minutes. Ad 2) It is the same for every deal and there is no difference if the deal is created in hand editor or if I am trying to export one of the "last played deals" so I dont think it will be related to something special in the "movie". Thank you for interest in this particular case. Now I have at least the work-around solution with the english version. Pavel

Hello, I would like to use Handviewer technology (great stuff btw) on my blog, but I can't generate the link as described in BBO help. I click "Export deal" then "Handviewer link" a I never get any response. Browser is not frozen, still fully functional, but I never get the window described in the BBO help with tinyurl link. I tried this with several browsers and several OS, but still no response. Anyone else experiencing the same troubles? Pavel

But now it is regular problem and this happens with almost any explanation because all the robot's explanations are quiet long. I hope you will be able to simulate the same situation...

First of all I would like to say that the Web-client is great and I really like it altough I am missing partnership bidding, but we all know BBO-team is working on it. Good job! This happened to me twice yesterday during the Robot Reward tournament using web-client in Firefox 3.0.5 on Ubuntu Linux. I asked for keycards, robot jumped to sixth level showing void and some number of the keycards, but when I moved mouse over the bid the explanation was to long and I could see only the end as the beginning was out of the screen. Interesting is that in the little diagram in "My Results" the explanation was correctly wrapped into more lines.

I agree it conveys special information and that's why I am confused, because I also wouldn't call it conventional. It shows the hand to weak for opening. Btw where should be the line? Should also precision pair opening about 80% of 10 count unBAL hands alert pass?

Hi, I play Magic Diamond (simplified version) for a while and I asked few times myself whether we should alert 1st or 2nd seat pass? Such a pass denies almost any unBAL hand with 8+HCP and white vs. red it also denies BAL 10+HCP as we play 10-12 NT in this position. Alert procedure in our country is almost identical to WBF rules. Your oppinion?

Hi all, I am trying to design system based on Magic Diamond structure and actualy I am stucked in 1D structure. The original structure after 1H negative (0-7 any hand) is to complex. I am looking for structure that could be conventional but not relays and prefer as naturalish as possible continuations. Any experiences or suggestions? Regards Pavel

I have a hand I should have for my 4♥ bid, so I am going to pass. My partners can usually judge these situations well and I have no reason not to trust them. We have also methods how to show a slam try hands, competitive hands for 5♥ so I do not worry, that it is the kind of "I have points and don't know what to do" double.

Yes Gerben, it is simple Magic Diamond system (in fact inspired with your version on web). It is my plan to treat is similar to 1NT - (2M) with Lebensohl(or Rubensohl) in use, but because I have no experience in such 1C I wanted to asks players more "involved" in these methods. Thanks all. Pavel

What would be your suggested schema when opps preempt with 2M after partner's intermediate 1C(any 13-16unBAL or 15-17 BAL)? Thanks for any help.
