Hi, when opponents have 4 cards 2-2 division is 40% probability but 3-1 is %50. In that 4 cards stiff honor probability is 12%, doubleton is 40% and trebleton is 38%. General rule for hook is when opponents have 3 or 4 cards hook against the K but not against the Q or J. I bet y'all take it out from there. Have fun!

Friends were playing vs GIB on MBC and i was a kibitzer. I asked GIB's advice. But it was very much different from the player GIB's bid at the table. Happy 2011♥ :rolleyes:

One idea is double, if p responds 1♥/1♦. wld rebid 1N, showing 16-18. If p bid ♠ might lead to a better contract than a direct 1N overcall. The other idea is 1N, 17 hcp and 4x3, thinking what else and 100% correct call...if you double and then bid 1NT it shows 18+ to 20-. Which one would you adopt? I don't know any body reported or not. Using web version. Say 1st round there's 10 tables in a tourney. After refresh button in same round reduces down to 9 tables !! But caption tells 10 tables. I recognize it as a "bug". It's strange that last table disappear in list while they play in same 10 tables tourney. Hope somebody cares, whatever.
