  1. Hi Kungsten, How do you continue with transfer openings ? 1♦ = 10-16 hp 4+♥ ..1♥ = 3 card fit or no fit ?
  2. Hi Kungsten, I actually want give first version a try. I liked it :) Btw thanks for the very good response scheme of 1♣. A few new ideas (just for fun) 1) put 14-16 hp 5m4m(31) hands into 1N 2) put 14-16 hp 6+m hands into 2N (3c=pas or correct, 3d=pas or bid 3 card major) then 2m=10-13 hp 5+m, M<4. I guess 1N is acceptable with a good response scheme and can foresee that 2N may hide some 5-3 major fits (when responder has hp<9. But it is hard for opponents to compete :)
  3. Stolen from awm, 1♣ = 11-13 hp bal / 17+ hp any 1♦ = 10-16 hp 4+♦ 1♥ = 10-16 hp 4+♣ 1♠ = 10-16 hp 5+♠ 1N = 14-16 hp bal 2♣ = 10-16 hp 5+♥, ♠<4 2♦ = 10-16 hp 5+♥-4♠ (or 2♥ and 2♦ multi)
  4. Did anybody mention ? 1♣ = 11-13 hp bal / 17+ hp any 1♦ = 10-16 hp 4♠ 1♥ = 10-16 hp 4+♥ 1♠ = 10-16 hp 5+♠ 1N = 14-16 hp bal 2m = 10-16 hp 5+m, M<4 2M = weak
  5. Hi thanks for the comments :) What I have in mind is to keep 1♣/♦ openings as natural as possible. First I started with 1♣ (responses are very similar to Jboling's structure. I will prepare a simple brief once I complete the picture.
  6. Hi MickyB, I actually now try to find something simple with 1♣ sequence and for a quick try things might get simple if; 2♣ = weak ♦ / 18-19 hp bal 2♦ = weak M / gf ♦ (single suited or with clubs maybe ?) 2♥ = weak M+M 2♠ = weak ♠+m 2N = weak ♥+m That will all depend how easy 1♣ will be For example now it might be 1♣-1M 2♣ = trs 2♦ = gf 5+ ♣ 2♥ = gf 5+♥ 2N = gf 4+♦-4♠ / gf 5+♠ But still not sure
  7. Hi helene_t, Thanks for the comments. Actually I also think to limit; 1♣-1♦ = 0-7 any (now) pass = 12-14 hp bal 4+♦ or 10-14 hp unb 4+♦ Maybe it can help further
  8. I'm trying to adapt a Polish Club variant but can't be sure if it is playable. Any comments ? 1♣ = 10-17 hp 5+♦, 4♦(441) / 12-14 hp bal / 18+ hp any 1♦ = 10-17 hp 5+♣, 4414 1♥ = 10-17 hp 5+♥ 1♠ = 10-17 hp 5+♠ 1N = 15-17 hp bal 2♣ = 5-9 hp M+M 2♦ = 5-9 hp 6M 2♥ = 5-9 hp ♥ + m 2♠ = 5-9 hp ♠ + m 2N = 5-9 hp m+m
  9. What I really wonder is how easy for meckwell lite players to find 4-4 major fits. We are struggling with it :)
  10. Hi we are trying to simplify our 1♣ responses as much as we can Maybe I misunderstood it but does Moss-Bathurst play something like; 1♣ ..1♦ = 0-7 hp any ..1♥ = 8-11 hp M<5 ..1♠ = 8-11 hp 5+M (I know it is 8+ hp 5+♠ in meckwell lite) ..1N+ = 12+ Or does anyone have a simple scheme ?
  11. Any plans for an english translation, google translator did not succeeded :)
  12. Hi, this is something that I tried in the past and was great 1♣ = 15-19 hp balanced 2+♣ / 15+ hp unbalanced 4+♣ / 22+ hp balanced 5M ok (forsing 1+) 1♦ = 10+ hp unbalanced 4+♦ (forsing 1+) 1♥ = 10-21 hp 5+♥ 1♠ = 10-21 hp 5+♠ 1NT = 11-14 hp bal 5M/5c(43)M1d/4441 ok 2♣ = 10-14 hp 6+♣ / 5♣-4M-3♦ / 5♣-44M :( 2♦ = weak / strong major 2♥ = weak majors 2♠ = weak spade + minor 2NT = 20-21 hp balanced 5M ok the main difference from nightmare is to seperate strong hands into 4 1♣ = might have strong ♣ / balanced 1♦ = might have strong ♦ 2♦ = might have strong major it works ;)
  13. Does anyone subsequent auctions of 2c/d openings of Swedish national players ? Asked the same question in natural system discussion forum but not got enough. 2♣ = 20-21 hp bal or 25+ hp bal or game-forcing but not 5+♦ 2♦ = weak major or game-forcing 5+♦ i need more detail then the convention card http://www.ecatsbridge.com/documents/files/cc/OpenTeams/Sweden/bertheau-cullin.pdf http://www.ecatsbridge.com/documents/files/cc/OpenTeams/Sweden/nystrom-upmark.pdf
  14. From the convention card; 2♣ ...2♦ = puppet mostly 4+♥ => how do they break transfer here, 2♥=20-21 bal (5s ?), 2♠= gf 5+♠ ?, 2nt = artificial, it says ? ...2♥ = trs, 4+♠ => similar here ...2♠ = trs, 6+m ...2nt = art, 5M-5M ...3♣ = trs, 6+♦ (but also 2s ?) ...3x = 4441 2♦ ...2M => 2nt = says bal with ♦ what does it mean 5♦332 ? and do they try to rebid with weak openings, thats my understanding http://www.ecatsbridge.com/documents/files/2012Dublin/systems/OpenTeams/Sweden/nystrom-upmark.pdf
