  1. We use 1♠ as a puppet to 1N 1♣ - 1♦ 1♥ - 1♠ 1N -> 2♣ to play 5♣ 4♥ -> 2♦ FG 5♥ 4♠ -> 2♥ to play 5♥ 4♠ -> 2♠ FG 44 MM -> 2N INV no 5H no 4♠ -> 3♣ 4414 -> 3♦ 4441 -> 3♥ 1444 FG -> 3♠ 1444 SI
  2. Where could you bet on a Bridge event on the internet? Thanks for help Salokin
  3. In my opinion 4♦ shows just a good 4♥ Bid and says that we want to win 4♥. This sets up a forcing pass. Here a 4♠ cue is possible, but I could live with a small underbid of 4♥. Salokin
  4. No i'm at least limited and just showing MAX Pass, i have told my story Salokin
  5. ♦J; I will most often lead a minor after this bidding because with some majorlength Pd might have tried to bid. I choose D because i dont hope that we are in a hurry to come to our tricks. In my thinking Pd must not have any extras because of "under Opener". In deed i think Pd could be trying to protect me haveing 13-14 HCP BAL. But anyway with a BAL hand (ie no 5+ suit) i have allways to stay; (if we cant beat it we will most often go down (probaly doubled) in some unklear fit (sometime 4/2 in Clubs :-). Salokin
  6. Maximal Overcall Double: i.e. gametry or better if Partner has support other wise he should show his hand; then we are in GF mode anyway and now he knows of my better OVC. Salokin
  7. Hi, lets try: 1- C8 Cx CQ CA 2- Sx Sx SK Sx 3- Sx S10 SJ Sx 4- SQ Sx Hx SA 5- Cx C10 CK Cx 6- Sx ? on his 3. S winner dummy is squeezed but what if Dec ducks 1. trick? with one trick in bag we could switch to D I hope i didn't miss anything Salokin
  8. 1) i think he should have a BAL hand to weak to XX i.e. 7-10 HCP and probably with length in both minors 2) this also should show some minor suit length
  9. I would bid, rigthy has not set up a FP situation with his jump and i do not think that he is in a position where he could double freely by him self. With the most of my partners i play that a double is showing convertible values, which i not have and so i would more likely making a 4NT t.o. bid. but this need a special agreement. Salokin
  10. No more bid over 3NT but over 4NT its really unsensible... If Partner doesnt want to sign off he could have bid 4♥ or 4♠ or 5♣, which are in my book all forward going. Salokin
  11. i could fully agree with this, only 2♠ is not a must in my opinion and probably 1♠, leaving more room, will left us in a better position later. Salokin
  12. ♦x I fear that on dummies good spades some ♦-losers will disapear, but i fully agree with a normal ♠J. Salokin
  13. no too weak suit points are not all Salokin
  14. Partners 3♥ shows ~8-10 with 4♥ sometimes 5♥. and is not forcing! I my opinion 3NT now showed 19-21 HCP and a good S stop and no 4H... ... just what i have. Some have the meaning that a 3NT now is just a scrab to NT, telling partner that my double was no double and now i want to play 3NT as he showed some live. there is no way to do this. If you have a 3crd♥ Double then you have to live with this. Other methods do not work! you have to limit your responses over a double (0-7 no jump, 8-10 jump, 11+Q-bid) and so you need a little disciplin in doubling. Salokin
  15. You play a basically natural system (15-17, 5♠♥ 4♦) and hold as south: [hv=d=w&v=e&s=sa842hj95d763c953]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] it went : (pass) 1♦ (pass) ? :) do you respond 1♠? How much more/less do you need: - HCP - ♠ length - ♠ quality - ♦ length Thanks for answering Salokin
  16. [hv=d=s&v=e&s=sa7xxxhaxdj9xcqtx]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] could part have something like: [hv=d=s&v=e&s=sa7xxxhaxdj9xcqtx]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] then i have a pretty good 4H, and even if beating 3S, which is not sure, will not get s the game bonus. And Partner could be 6/5 or sometimes Oppos bid up to 4S. Salokin
