I get this error (ESOCKETTIMEDOUT) regularly, usually when using the app. No big deal, you can just reenter the tourney and continue play. Not this time, however - playing in the Daylong IMP 1, seven boards went smoothly, but on the 8th the error occurred...and ocurred... and occurred...and occurred...you get the idea. It´s going on for hours now, same error everywhere: the app, version v3, and the flash version. Other tourneys work fine. I would really like to finish my daylong.

Thanks for the suggestion. Chat doesn´t get logged, so I would have to manually write down the explanations for further reference. I have also tried using a teaching table. You can´t see your partners explanation, which is great. But when you redeal after the bidding has finished, the players don´t get to see the full distribution, and you can´t save the deal. So this doesn´t work for me either.

Of course, to just never show the explanations to partner (instead of giving a choice) would also work fine for me.

I´m practising with various pairs and would like to see the explanations myself (as a kibitzer/table host), it makes following the bidding much easier.

When playing at a partnership bidding table, you are able to see your partners alerts and explanations. Could you add the option to not show this when starting a table?
