Hello dear brisge players It is always nice to greet people as you meet them so is good to have a chat a table. But some of us are unsatisfied just to be happy to play bridge and to be polite, so, they start insulting each other. I think everyone has been, at least once, witness to an embarrassing dialogue at the table. (between opps) or, they start talking in their native language and you have no ideea of what they are talking about and they don't care of your ask to stop this. I would like to have an option (a mute button) to disable chat at the table for current deal (no option to turn back on), and automatically resets on deal change. I say no option to turn back on, because after end of play you can chat in private with your partner if you like. And to avoid intentionaly missuse turn on and off and on and off... Of course this is usefull in tournaments not on private tables. I know I can always ignore chat, or report, but I think it will be a tool very usefull for everyone to "punish" the people that want to show their "superiority" So eventualy noone will tend to use trivial chat because they would have nowhere to talk anyway.
