After the installation of Internet Explorer 7 ,I had those troubles: 1) Had to wait a lot before logging in 2)Continous freezings and bootings I did uninstall and reinstall BBO, but nothing happened.Finally I uninstalled I.E. 7 and it worked:no more troubles. Thanks so much for your help. :) I did respond to the BBO email and everything seemed to be correct....but no results! :) So yesterday I sent the same report to abuse!

Hello on January 31th I reported a player for abusive language and sent to abuse the snapshot of the chat.Well, this person is still playing at BBO and, as far as I know, he is keeping insulting other people without any reason. :) What it is going on?

I have to point out one thing I forgot to say in my first post:I marked time ago as enemy the player I'm talking about because I knew his bad temper, but he did log in again with an other nick and an orientalian flag and started to insult me by a awful way.No reply by me-Just took the snapshot and logged out.After about 2 hours, when I did login I found out a mail full of other insults! Elianna is right:there is no way to get ride of these people.Just hope BBO ban him! Regards :)

Desidererei,tuttavia, aggiungere quanto segue:seguendo il suggerimento di alcuni amici,colpiti anch'essi dalla violenza verbale di questo giocatore, avevo provveduto, tempo fa ,ad inserirlo nella mia blacklist(particolare dimenticato nel primo post).Proprio questo fatto ha scatenato la sua reazione selvaggia:quando si è reso conto che le sue saette non colpivano il bersaglio, è uscito, rientrando poco dopo con nick e bandiera esotici.Quindi la pioggia di insulti(in italiano ovviamente).Nessuna risposta da parte mia-Ho eseguito la foto della chat e sono andata via.Dopo un esame strutturale(!) del linguaggio scatolologico , ho capito di chi si trattava.I miei sospetti sono diventati certezza perché questo becero si è tradito, inviandomi un messaggio dello stesso tenore, ma questa volta usando il nick con cui gioca in BBO.Stesso comportamento da parte mia:silenzio e foto della chat. Come vedi nemmeno il gagging funziona; mi auguro soltanto che fatti di tale natura accadano raramente. Franci

I was playing two days ago in the main bridge room.I was host and I did refuse a player as a kibitzer.Result: after about 10 minutes he did log in with an other nick and flag and started sending me a lot of insults.I avoided to reply, just took the snapshot of the chat and logged out.When i did log in again i found up a BBO message sent by that person(witht his real ID!) full of other insults.No answer by me.Other snapshot.Sent all this to abuse@bridgebase.com and to two yellows of my country but......this "gentleman" still is playing here! :) .I wonder where the Zero Tolerance has gone! As far as I know, that player got many reports for the same reasons, but nothing has happened so far.Dont you think this sort of people shuld be barred forever? Thanks for your attention :(

Salve, ieri,mentre giocavo tranquillamente, sono stata fatta oggetto di insulti postribolari da un giocatore italiano che avevo rifiutato come angolista, conoscendone le intemperanze(eufemismo).Ho fatto lo screenshot della chat e ne ho inviato copia a Beky, Vincenzo e ad abuse@bridgebase.com.Ebbene, questa persona sta tranquillamente giocando come se niente fosse successo. A questo punto mi chiedo se la cosiddetta Zero tolerance esista davvero.Gente come questa dovrebbe essere cacciata per sempre o mi sbaglio?Mi risulta che questo" gentleman "è stato segnalato varie volte allo staff di BBO, ma tutto ciò non ha avuto alcuna consegueguenza.Sarei molto grata a Vincenzo se mi desse una qualche spiegazione in proposito. I was playing with a friend of mine against 2 poles(no names!)-They bid 4H-Declarer had to guess trumps-He got:H:KQ9xx-Dummy:10xx-Me:J8x-My partner:Ax- Well:declarer played small H from dummy-Me:small-declarer:H K-My partner:H A and clbs-Declarer won with clbs K in dummy then played an other small H from dummy-Me:small-At this point the "speaking" dummy said: play 9!-He played 9 and made 4H! I'm speachless-Never seen it before-I did report and blacklist him- We did finish the hand and left the table-If you are interested in the name of the dummy(to avoid him) send me a BBO message.Thanks for your attention B)

Hello, as far as I know ,the claim can be made only if there are no trumps oustanding(declarer may have forgotten it) and if the contract depends on a finesse that is a guess.Declarer has to say:draw the trumps or I'll take the finesse that way. The Td should penalize IMO people who violate these rules. :P Jo
