This used to happen occasionally earlier - say once a week. But for the last month or so, the anonymous server is unusable for me. Every hand gets interrupted by "Trying to connect .." message at least once per hand in the middle. And in every alternate hand, the Trying to connect is unsuccessful & then hand shuts down in the middle with this message - Please fix this - the anonymous server is unusable these days for me.

But it's still a bug & even if not fixed should atleast be acknowledged by BBO support people. Else users have no motivation in reporting non-blocking issues. In the logged-in server, I frequently see a different kind of bid explanation bug - "Loading explanations ..." I have written about it here - https://www.bridgebase.com/forums/topic/87704-bid-explanations-occasinally-not-appearing-in-free-day-long-tournaments/ Barmar never acknowledges any non-blocking bugs. He either ignores it or says it's not a bug. Any software company should be delighted that users are reporting issues (even if they aren't blocking bugs) with detailed descriptions. Irrespective of whether they are fixing it or not, they should be logging the bugs in their bug tracking system. But over the years, I have always seen that any non-blocking bugs are either dismissed as not a bug or ignored.

Apparently this is a weak 2 bid.

Neither 3♥ or 4♥ is a preempt after you yourself have opened 1♥. I think this is a bug - the program seems to have forgotten that you opened earlier & seems to consider this some of kind of first bid by you.

Yes, this is surely a bug. I have seen it happening at least a couple of times a week with the Daylong free tournaments.

What about the 1♥ bid? Why is the 1♥ bid not shaded in the bid diagram?

When you are bidding & you hover your mouse over the possible bids during the auction phase, you get an explanation of the bid. For e.g. in Response to 1NT by partner, when it's your turn to bid, & you hover your mouse of 2♣, you get an explanation & that 2♣ is Stayman. Occasionally, there is no explanation (in a bid where there should be) - you just see "Loading explanations ..." & nothing else happens after that. I haven't been able to get a screenshot of that but here is a screenshot of what happens after you click anyway on a unexplained bid. If you check this auction, both 1♥ & 2♥ are bids which have a proper explanation. However, for 2♥, it say "loading explanations .." & after I bid 2♥, shows the bidding screen with both the bids not highlighted. Non-highlighted bids are bids where you don't have an explanation. Here in this case, I think there is an explanation for both 1 & 2♥ but it's still not highlighted. Is this a bug? This occasionally happens for some bids.

Seems to be fixed now.

"An error has occurred. Table closing". This happens as soon as you click on "Play Now". It goes in & comes out right away. Happens repeatedly. Unable to play the tournament.

Logged in but Messages tab shows no notification when the News Tab is the active tab inside the Messages Tab - https://i.imgur.com/JGJky6L.png Click on the Mail Tab - only then mail notifications show up - https://i.imgur.com/iZ5FQn2.png - see the 8 count in the messages tab. Shouldn't mail notifications show up all the time - that's pretty much standard UI design. I am on Windows 10 with Firefox Browser.
