Many thanks everyone for all the interesting replies - much appreciated. Think I’ll go with Morecharac’s suggestion to just use Losing Trick Count and drop distribution points. Seems much simpler.

Hi Would be grateful if someone could clarify how many points to add for shortages when a fit is found. I have read that it’s 5 for a void, three for a doubleton and 1 for a singleton. But I’ve also read that it’s 3 for a void, two for a doubleton and 1 for a singleton (I play ACOL if that makes any difference). Regards Craig
