Hello Wainfleet. I have also had a similar problem. Using Safari my computer would hang up when trying to activate Voice at a teaching table. I was advised to use Firefox instead of Safari and now Voice works really well. I hope that this is of help to you. Regards.

I don’ know whether this would be considered as a similar problem but I have tried using Voice whilst on a teaching table several times and never been successful. Using macOS Catalina I get as far as the blue voice button changing to yellow but then my computer completely freezes up and I have to spend several minutes trying to "Force Quit" BBO. Someone suggested emptying the cache but that has made no difference. I hope for a solution to this frustrating problem.. Thank you.
