On Tuesday AM a relative called in a bit of a panic because she thought BBO had blocked her. She's running the last supported version of Chrome, ~49, on her imac running 10.7. Good thing there's zoom. I was able to bring up the console, and saw multiple error messages announcing Err_Spdy_Protocol_Error right after log in. Some resources could not be accessed. There is a config to work with SPDY, but it's not available in her version of chrome. Same thing with another relative later that day (nov 17), running an older version of Windows. I don't know which version, but I can tell you both of these people never upgrade their systems because they're tired of the way upgrades change their systems. They're both not-so-happily running BBO v2, because they can log in to that. No virtual tournaments though. Further research showed there was a recent patch to IIS on Windows 10 that requires SPDY for some transactions. If this applies to BBO, I would test BBO against some older systems that are typical of many of your users, and if you can replicate the breakage, roll back the update and communicate minimum supported browsers and operating systems. If this isn't the case, I would still increase the testing against a wider, older variety of client systems and still communicate minimum supported versions.
