Hi, What is the best system against 1NT(15-17), when the partnership doesn't use X as penalty?

When I try to add a jpg I get the option to find on a url. Is it possible to add a jpg directly from my PC? :blink:

As Responder when I bid a suit at 2 Level, that is not a jump shift and when the opponents have passed in between, does bidding the suit show 4 or 5 of that suit? I know bidding 2 hearts always shows 5 due to the convention of bidding the lowest four card suit. Examples are 1♦ Pass 2♣ 1♥ Pass 2♦

If you write a bid that is obviously wrong in a live game whats the situation? Some say you have a chance to correct it - other say you simply must wear it. I have no training as a director. :unsure:

My partner is telling me it is wrong to open on 11 points with 5 card suit. What is the opinion of others?

In all the material I have accessed to bid Jacoby 2NT or make a splinter bid you need at least a 9 card major fit. Is this because its advisable to have a 9 card fit to bid slam or is there another reason. You don't seem to need a 9 card fit to bid Blackwood or RKC.
