The first few tricks went (*=led card) West North South East *D5 DA D2 DQ D3 *D10 DK HJ H2 H4 H9 *HA S9 HQ C9 *H10 C6 *D9 DJ HK At this point I crossed to dummy's last trump, dumped a club on the 8 of diamonds, ruffed my last diamond, and ran my trumps, leaving [hv=pc=n&s=sa6hdct&n=sq2hdck]133|200[/hv] I put East on both the Ace of Clubs and King of Spades for their opening, but had to guess whether East's last card was a club (in which case I could drop the king of spades) or a spade (in which case a club lead endplays east). I guessed wrong. Was there a way to avoid this guess, or a better way to get the 12th trick?
  2. ♠A93 ♥AKT972 ♦AT ♣K7 You open 1H and partner responds 1S. What would be your rebid? And would it change if instead you had AK diamonds and two low clubs? 3H feels like an underbid here, but 2NT feels like it could easily lead to a 3NT that goes down when 4H or 4S is a make.
  3. This was level 4. Trick 1: (West Leads) HK, DT, HA, H2 Trick 2: (North Leads) S3, S9, SK, S7 Trick 3: (South Leads) H3, H7, DJ, H6 Trick 4: (North Leads) SA, ST, S2, D7 Trick 5: (West Leads) S8, S5, SJ, D2 A couple more details: - When I tried ruffing Trick 5 and leading a heart, play stopped; West didn't play anything on the heart. - When I instead discarded on Trick 5 (putting me down in the contract), the "Contract Failed" screen went a bit haywire, and this persisted even after undoing a trick (see image below). Things went back to normal after I left the Bridge Master table and came back to it.
  4. This happened in hand D-9. I tried cashing the Ace of Spades fairly at trick 4. West ruffled and returned the 8 of spades.
