  1. Hello again everybody! Finished first version of point caclucaltion system and its bidding system implementation. Please have a look. http://precisetrick.blogspot.com/ Please express your opinion. Thank you. All notes, suggesion, advises and discussions welcome, of course.
  2. There are no neither 4h nor 4s here. Well you may theoretically get 10 tricks with worst distribution and awful opponents play. But this doesn't mean that this hand "is" 10 tricks in the ususal sense.
  3. Well, I tried to create such an indexed publication on blogger com but didn't find a way to do this. Is there a special setting for this? Found at last. Thanks!
  4. Hello everybody. Some time ago I've realized that usual HCP caclulation method is far from perfection. Thinking about possible impovement I invented my own that takes into account following areas those can provide potential tricks: 1. High cards (obviously). 2. Long suits. 3. Strong suit (trump in suit contracts). 4. Trump honors on short side. 5. Short suits. Though there are several methods those alredy cover some of them (like high cards, trump honors and short suits), the caculation base of my method is different. However, the general idea is the same and it won't take long to study whole method. I suppose it provides most precise average trick calculation that can be achieved when partner's hand is unknown. Based on this method I supplemented it with simple bidding system that includes natural openings and standard questions. All innovation I made were related only to specific feature of calculation method. The basis of natural bidding remained same. The basic features of system are: 1. Early strength range resolving. 2. Keeping 0 or -1 safety limit when bidding. 3. Opening 4+ suits. 4. Required number of trumps on line: 6 - minimal, 7 - default. 5. Specific order when opening several long suits. 6. Extended question and answer session with meaningful relays. I've recently finished basic documentation though question and answer section still need work. If someone is interested in reading/discussing - please ask me to email it to you. Unfortunately, I have no personal site. If someone knows right place to put it for revieing - please let me know, I'd very appreciate this. Thank you in advance for any comment, criticism and suggestions!
