  1. Hi there! Am I able to request a flag? I recently moved to Ghana and wanted to change the flag on my BBO profile, but Ghana is not in the list (the drop-down menu out of which you can select your country of residence). Can it be added in some way? Thanks!
  2. Hi all, It seems there is some sort of bug in the Express Automated Fun tournaments. I'm declaring, it's my turn to play and I have the rest of the tricks so I claim. The opponents then take over 30 seconds to accept the claim, and I get thrown out! But I can't play any cards while the claim is pending! That means as an opponent, you can just kick out the declarer by taking time before accepting their claim. This has happened to me a couple of times now and is very frustrating. It also counts negatively towards my TCR while there was nothing I could do about it... This problem should be easily solved by pausing the 30 second rule while a claim is pending. Is this possible?
  3. A Dutch ex-pair which played in the Dutch highest Premier League played this, a 2♦ opener showing 18-19 bal and a natural system next to that. So it can not really be such a bad thing, I guess...
  4. Hi all, I think it was about a year ago that I used a website which could generate roughly shuffled hands (goulash). Today I wanted to use this site again. But I spent a lot of time searching for it on google and I wasn't able to recover it. Does anyone know where I might look for it? The site was a bridge hands generator where you could select and choose from 13 different levels of how rough the dealing should be. Adriaantje
  5. I've already joined that club.
  6. Hello I like to play at more BBO tournaments with an other junior. Anyone interested? My name is Adriaan, I'm 15 years old and I live in the Netherlands. I myself play a variation of dutch acol as such: 1♣ 2+ (non-forcing) 1♦ 4+ 1♥/1♠ 5+ 1NT 15-17 - Stayman, jacoby, 2♠/3♣ transfers to minors 2♣ weak with 5-10 HCP 5 ♥ 4+ in a minor or 20-22 NT or 25+ NT or semiforcing ♠ or GF 2♦ Weak 2 in ♥ or ♠, semiforcing ♣/♦ or an NT with 23-24 2♥ weak with both majors 2♠ 5-10 HCP 5 ♠ 4+ in a minor 2NT weak with both minors or semiforcing ♥ or GF both majors RKC1430 micheals+unusual negative double multi-landy or DONT I'm also happy to play other systems.
  7. I also think Multi should be allowed. In international regulations Multi is considered permitted. I think juniors are perfectly capable of handling this convention. I myself live in the Netherlands and with my age of 15 I think I can call myself a junior. At the club I play i think 98% of the players uses Multi (mostly combined with Muiderberg or semiforcing 2♥/2♠). I myself also use it. I also participated in the Dutch Champinships for Team Match and for Pairs. Multi was allowed there (BSC's and HUM's weren't) and I think that is the right way, it also should be treated like that at the JuniorBBO tournaments.
  8. With my normal partner i play both multi and the weak twos, so you can see a difference between a good weak two bid and a bad weak two bid. A bad weak two bid (usually 3-6 HCP) such as: [hv=s=sat8642h83d75c84]133|100|[/hv] is in our system opened with 2♠ A good weak two bid (usually 7-10 HCP) such as: [hv=s=sat8642h83d75c84]133|100|[/hv] Is opened with a Multi 2♦. What do you think of this?
