This was originally a PC question. Click on the Windows Start button (lower left). Click on Settings (the gear). Click on System. Click on Tablet (on the left). I never use my PC in Tablet mode (I don't have a touch monitor), so I set the settings to "Never use Tablet mode" and "Don't switch to tablet mode". If you do use your PC in Tablet mode, there should be a Tablet icon in the Action Center (lower left corner of the Taskbar). The Tablet icon will let you switch between Tablet and Desktop modes.

Three days each week, we play one invisible/permission-to-play/permission-to-kibitz table on the Casual server. We rotate 2 players every [6] boards. On the [6th] board, I remind the other players not to bid the next board until after we switch players. The players who will be moving "leave" the table and then request to sit at their next seat. As each player sits in their new seat, BBO automatically re-deals because the players who were not seated can see all hands. With two players changing seats, there are two automatic re-deals. This has been working fine since pandemic lockdown began.

1. True, but it's disconcerting/intimidating to newer players. 2. Also true, but I still catch myself occasionally thinking that spades are trump. The people I play with have also be caught by the same mistake.

I play exclusively on the Casual server (for now anyway). I have two suggestions for "Account / Settings" that would help me and the people I play with... 1 - Specify a time delay for Robot bidding and play. They are just too fast. The delay, in seconds, could be an integer between 0 and [10]. 0 means no delay and would be the default. Bidding and Play could have separate specifications. 2 - Specify the suit to be placed to the left (or right?) in the Dummy when playing a notrump contract. I was taught to always place Clubs to the declarer's left in the Dummy for notrump contracts. I hate to think of how many times on BBO I've screwed up because I saw a good Spade suit and forgot the the contract was in notrump.

I'm aware of the Recent Hands purge of hand before 5/16/2020, however my Recent Hands (History tab and Hand Records) is stuck on the first 16 hands I played on/after 5/16. There should be more hands. This is all on the new Casual server.

I just had a friend try to start a Casual table with Table Host on a PC and partner on an iPad... The iPad user did not get switched to the new Casual server. When partner used the Safari browser on the same iPad, everything worked as expected. I just tried to connect to Casual from the iPhone BBO app and had the same experience as the iPad user. Tapping Casual did not switch to the new server.

I have the same question. I started using BBO in April. I've played 13 different times. I've been seeing the same 50 hands for at least two weeks. Since there's no date/time stamp on the hands, I can't tell when they were from.
