Hi I have a second older IPAD that uses IOS 9.3.5. I have noticed that i can play instant tournaments and join tables on this older IPAD, but I am not able to play Solitaire - Just Play Bridge (Free). When I try, a pop up box comes up saying "Connection problem retrying" - followed by another pop up box saying "Service unavailable. Please refresh page or try again later". This does not happen on my newer IPAD that runs a more recent operating system. Is there any workaround re this problem as I would like to give the older IPAD to a bridgeplaying pensioner friend of mine?

You are right and she is wrong, maybe she doesn't realize that partner cannot see the alert. In her defense, self alerting is something that one has to get ones head around. If you alert, partner cant see, and opps have the choice of looking at the alert.
