  1. Do you know how much the charge is? we do offer very cheap tournaments (for our club members only), but it seems there is no option to use video chat.
  2. As a TD it would be great to have more options to give different "rights" /optionsregarding kiebitzers of a tourney. e.g. that everyone sitting on a table has to accept kiebitzers and /or that a kiebietzer is only able to see the cards of the person he/she is 'joining'. Maybe that could prevent self-kiebitzing and checking for as well partners as opponents distribitions. Kind regrads Michael
  3. exactly that happend to one of my (paid) tournaments some weeks ago. there were only 3 pairs and we ended up with a 2 table howell and a robot pair. I did not skip the tournament though I thought it won´t start. But it did ;o))
  4. +roundsX+ means that you do not run a full howell but one with X rounds. Given 5 table a full howell is 9 rounds. using +rounds8+ you get only 8 rounds. if you do not specify a special number of rounds you will get a full howell
  5. In my club some people are not very happy that dummy is able to see declarers cards, too. Knowing this is none of the real important "problems", programmers may think about to add the option that partner can´t see my hand if I´m declarer. Michael
  6. A far as I know, freezing robots happen if you do not allow robots as partners in your tournament. Substitution of robots can be done if you go to the table=> right click on the robot and replace him with a named player (not a random one). That´s works pretty well and really fast.
  7. Got the same information. For My club it´s no problem as we are 7 tables at most and I will be able to host free tournaments in the evening (Europe), again. What I´m really interessted in is what exactly will change in august? My players wouldn´t mind low costs (say 0.25 or 0.5 BB$ per tournament). Michael
  8. yes they were playing TDs as I started to "train" them cause I do not want to be the only one in our club being able to manage everything
  9. Hi, @ 1) yes @ 2) no. Both is great. Thanks to BBO Michael
  10. ATTENTION: +howell+ not +Howell+ AND: you have to have permission to use it (!!) For details see link above
  11. You do find details here. https://blog.bridgebase.com/2020/04/18/how-to-run-howell-for-small-tourneys/ But as I said: +roundsX+ fixes the number of rounds to X Michael
  12. Yes I think it would have been like you described. Without specifying rounds you play a full Howell which equals 2*(number of tables) - 1. As I entered 24 boards I think we would have played 3 boards per round. Entering 21 Boards should have led to 2 boards per round. Michael
  13. WONDERFUL. Worked perfectly. 5 tables 8 rounds a 3 boards. I´m completely happy. THANKS to the masterminds behind BBO. Code: +howell+ +rounds8+ Michael
  14. okay, hat sounds a bit different from what was told to me. i will test in 20 minutes ;o))
