  1. Thanks, that's a very sensible way to do it.
  2. Hi all, I never made a tourney on BBO and I'm thinking about possibilities of organizing Serbian national championships online. One of our main events in a year is a tournament where (up to) 16 pairs play long IMP matches (say 14 boards) in a round-robin. Would it be possible to make a tournament where a pair would play only against single pair in one long round? Cheers, Veljko
  3. [hv=d=w&v=n&s=saq10xxxhkxxxdaxca]133|100|Scoring: IMP[/hv] LHO starts the auction. 1♥-1♠-pass-2♥- 3♣-3♦-5♣-? 1♥ is 11-15 2♥ from your p would be michaels, weak or FG
  4. right, this makes much sense, on the way to 6hx
  5. despite major posture, i'd never think of an invite with this hand at mp's or bam
  6. i'd bid 2s but i guess that's too dull
  7. i don't understand opening 4h unless you know your opps well at the other table and deliberately want to imitate or differ
  8. no way its 44+ in blacks. it is t/o but with long diamonds knowing p got shortness and few hcps; tolerates hearts too
  9. probably depends on style whether 2s is courtesy or extras. but what's the difference, i'd bid 2s in both cases
  10. i hoped to get some honest answers and to expose the trickiness of the deal immediately. as for playing K or not - my 2¢: one should judge if it's realistic that pard continues hearts after a card that looks discouraging, and therefore take a risk or not (and in tempo)
  11. auction went, say 1c strong - 1d neg 1nt 19-22 bal - 2h xfer 2s - 3h nat invite 4s
