I love the IQ tests that come in the form of emails. These are my two favorites: 1) You can give your credit card information to a falsified email address to buy dangerous drugs which are available legally by prescription only, and then you put those drugs in your mouth and swallow them. and 2) You give your credit card and personal information to a falsified email address to buy a fake diploma so you can lie on employment applications. Isn't it just amazin' B)

I wonder why I'm not surprised.

I asked friends in Alaska how she got elected since she appears to be lights on - nobody home. They all say the same thing. She was running against Murkowsky in the primary and he was SUCH a horrible governor that she beat him! And then, because Alaska tends to vote Republican without any undue thinking being involved, the day after the general election they were all looking at each other and saying "Huh???" :P

Old fantasy series, which is fabulous if you can find it as it is out of print: E.R. Eddison, a contemporary of Tolkein, wrote the "Zimiavian Trilogy" which consists of: Mistress of Mistresses Fish Dinner in Memison The Mezentian Gate - this one is unfinished but published anyway, and you can see how this type of story is constructed - fantastic! C.S.Lewis has a recommendation on the back of the books which reads as follows: "a new literary species, a new rhetoric, a new climate of the imagination... These books are works, first and foremost, of art. And they are irreplaceable." He also wrote "The Worm Ouroboros." These are the best fantasy books I've ever read. Eddison was into classic Greek mythology and wove it into these works. He has a richness of detail that's amazing.
