A number of our club members have had issues connecting to the Casual Server following the 11 May BBO update. This is how we resolved the issue. Problem: You log in on a PC but are unable to connect to the new Casual server NB After log in, clicking Casual should connect you to the Casual server and you should see “BridgeBase Connecting, please wait”. If you don’t get this message, you will remain in the main BBO area and will be unable to communicate with friends “on the other side”. You won’t see their table invites and they don’t know you have logged in. Reason: we found our members were using an old version of Flash Player or did not have Flash Player installed on their computer. Solution: Install or update Adobe flash player on your PC. Google “Adobe Flash Player“. Choose the correct version for your computer operating system and browser. Install (or update), selecting Run when prompted.
