She is logging in with the URL you suggest. And I see she is on v3 when she shares her screen with me.

Hi, Both my partner and I use the new version of BBO (v3). However, when she goes to casual - she is not taken to the new server. So when I hit casual, I lose her. She logs on via Chrome browser. But she has an old computer. Could there be a reason her BBO is not updated with the patch that introduces the separate servers? How can we find this out - and what can we do about it? We had a very weird situation today. We are all on the new version (v3). All of us hit "casual". 3 of us were then visible on the casual server, while the 4th still was on main server - even after hitting casual. She is on a rather old machine though. She enters via Chrome and the URL that takes her to v3. Why is this happening?

Could you ask your friends to also log on to the old version? That would solve the problem for you. I also believe the Flash version will be retired soon - so you may have to look into new hardware.

If you can ask everybody to go to casual server, they will get invited. Or is this not possible. I can't see how a new ID will help any.

I agree. In my circle this has caused a good bit of confusion. But when you know, and you just want to play 4 friends, it's fine. However: Let us rather be thankful that BBO is trying very hard to keep up with an extremely difficult situation.

One thing. I believe only the teaching tables have the voice option anyway? At least this is my finding. The thing about a teaching table is that you aren't scored - so you really can't see if your contract/play is good. Also - if the idea is just to be able to talk, start at hangouts (google) phone conference on the side and then start a table. This is what we do when we play - much more stable anyway.
