  1. Great! Thank you. The Right click is the secret. I never thought of that since right clicks on a Mac are rare. Now it all works.
  2. I login to BBO, go to the deal that I want, click on the three lines, click on Export, click on Handviewer link, click on the web address which appears on the page, and I get the deal, which I can replay. Everything is fine. I then close the Handviewer link, and repeat the process for another deal. But this time, when I click on the web address for the Handviewer link, nothing at all happens. The deal just doesn't appear. But if I exit BBO and log in again, it works fine just as it did at first.
  3. I often want to look at deals in my history and replay them, seeing the GIB double dummy analysis at each step. I can do that by exporting the deal to the handviewer link. There is no problem there. The strange thing is that after I do one deal , it won't do any more. I have to exit BBO and sign in again in order to access another deal. I don't understand why it would work in such a fashion and wonder if I am doing something wrong, or if there is a way around it.
  4. I sent this in before but I think I had the wrong sub-forum . This seems to be the right place for my remarks. I don't recall the exact hand, but the circumstances were that my robot partner responded to my Stayman bid with two spades, even though one of the opponents had already opened the bidding with one spade. To make matters worse, the robot had five spades, so knew for certain that I had less than four. Surely, the instructions to the robot in responding to Stayman should be modified to prevent this. This caused a real problem, since I had a weak hand with diamonds and hearts, and "knew" that I would be playing the hand at either 2H or 2D, ( unless the opponents continued ) either of which I expected to be a better contract than 1NT.
  5. Is there a continual attempt to upgrade the algorithm used by the robots, and if so, is there a place to forward suggestions for improvements, after observing some questionable bids and plays ? As an example, the other day, my robot partner responded to my Stayman bid with 2 spades, even though an opponent had already opened the bidding with 1 spade. Surely, the instruction to a robot to respond to Stayman by bidding their lowest major suit that has four cards or more, should be modified to exclude any suit for which an opponent has shown a holding of five cards or more.
  6. I have just started to play on BBO tables, and I am a bit confused about the display of the IMP scoring. On the right side of the screen. under History, I get the IMPS for both sides, on each board, and at the bottom there are the totals. Then on the left side of the screen there is a panel headed IMPS showing the net difference . But this net difference is not the same as the number you get when you subtract the two totals shown under History. They are often close, but never seem to be exactly the same. Is it that one of these figures is more up to date, and if so which one? I understand that the IMP scoring can change as more people play the board.
