  1. Yes, someone told m long ago to play the hand with 11 cards in 2 suits, Bd 4♠
  2. Pass, not really clear-cut but I don't use "super acceptance" response on transfer.
  3. 4♠ and prepared to be -1 B)
  4. You can't say "sorry gtg" or anything like that. You have ♠xx, ♥AKTx, ♦AJ9x, ♣Jxx Bidding: 1♦(by you) - 2♣ - 2♠ - pass ? B) Please, do not try to covince me to 4 card major or weak NT.
  5. Once you prefered 1♣ over 1♦ 1NT is clear. 2♥ by N is crazy.
  6. 2♣, not even close. Would you really pass after 1NT - pass - pass - dbl ?
  7. That's why post-mortem is so important :( , How can I have 4 tricks in ♣ and ♠ with maximum of 9-10 HP, look at your KQJ in ♦, you know about my ♥ shortness. So it was a "do something" double partner
  8. Double! Let your partner go wrong. It sould promiss 2-2,5 def trick outside ♦ so he will pass with 1,75 like ♦A and ♥J9xx, othewise he'll bid 5♦. And, after you can always "adjust" your post-mortem.
  9. I'm 5♦ bidder. Partner won't bid 6♦ without 4 or 3+ ruffing value in major and we can even find 6♣ - this is for 1st part, After Stayman - pass
  10. 1NT, but only cos of ♣98 and after 3min. hesitation .... Oh, well after 1min more 1♣ and 1NT
  11. ♦Q for now. Partner has 3 - 6/7 HP i'd like to discover where they are. Imagine you take ♦ and play ♥ - decl wins ♥ 9 and play ♠ - would you play ♠A ? If not - your partner has KTxx in ♦, if yes Jxxx.
  12. Didn't notice 14-16 NT, drop all Ts from my previoust post. Strongly disagree with 3♥ bid. Why not 2NT ? or even 3NT io 4♦ ? He should know that ♦ AK is wrong for slam.
  13. I bid 6♥ now, might of course bid BW before but the worst he can have is ATx,AQx,KTx,JT9x, i'd also bid 2♣ not 2♦
  14. Congratulations for the hunter, sometime it's just happend to me
  15. I'm still using http://www.annam.co.uk/ 2/1 as reference. Is there any better description of SAYC or 2/1 standards BBO ? And 2♥ rebid could be 3-6 with 3♥ also (and I think 80% of all) After all I'm 2NT bidder
  16. Don't know and don't know :) 3♦ is defined as 10-12 VERY good suit. So partner is likely misevaluate. Would you really play this hand in NT ? especially in face of 5431 ? Waiting for yours analysis
  17. Take Mike construction and replace ♠Q by J. Your partner's hand ♠ KQTxxxx ♥ xx ♦ Qxxx ♣ - and he will bid 3♠ - anyway batter than 3♣ doubled arguing that he can't even imagin a bridge player not strong enough to bid 2♣ after 1♥ and doubling opps for penalty in a vul partial knowing at least 22-23 HP between them. Would he be that wrong ?
  18. Pick-up partner ? BBO expert ? Don't even think about dbl - he will bid ♠ B)
  19. Even beeing Polish and living in France I pass (no other option) B)
  20. Take ♠K, ♥K and exit ♣ breaking ♣/♦ squzee
  21. I'd rather open 1♥ than 1NT. As 1♥ says nothing about ♣ why not bid your second decent suit - ♣? So 2♣, but if by agreement 2♠ is good hand, no ♠ I vote for it
  22. ♥ on IMP, seems quite standard, ♥ on MP also but will accept the blame if it's wrong without post-mortem fight
  23. I'd bid 2♠ not 1♠ but now 4♥ seems ok, even if the value of ♣K is uncertain
  24. Good hand for Polish Club: 1♣ (18+ variant) - 1♦ (0-7) 1♥ 11-15 3+♥ or 18 - 20 5♥ - 2 ♠ 4♠ - pass
