When I am in the Robot Tournament list on the old system and I click on a tournament either to register or just to get more info, I get a pop-up window that displays the info, the registration info, and the list of current entrants in a single box. If I click close, the pop-up closes and I go back to the Robot World List. In the new system, I get a full panel with 3 tabs - one tab for info, one for registration, one for entrants list. And this panel takes more screen space than the old system pop-up. In addition the new panel has smaller fonts. So let's see - smaller fonts (harder to read for my old eyes), clicking around on 3 tabs to see all the info, and requires more screen space. Then when I click close on new in upper left corner, it goes back to Bridge Base Home, and I again have to reselect Robot World. When getting into Robot World, I lose eye focus as to whet I was previously looking at. Overall poorer design for this aspect in new system.

When I go through competitors hands in new system, the panel where the hands and play display fist for a moment shows a "data refresh" message and then shows the cards. This is full of distracting screen flicker and is not good. Especially when the "refresh" message only shows for half a second. Suggest you leave the old screen and just display some sort of refresh circle (or nothing)?

It is faster and easier to dispaly meaning of bids in old system. I have to click; whereas in old system I just had to hover. Old is slightly easier to use

In the old system as cards are player, they snap right into view. In the new system they slide in which takes abut a second. Let's multiply 52 cars per hand is about a minute a hand for the cards to slide into place. That's too much of time in a 30 minute 8 hand game.

In the right side history box, the size of everything, as compared to the older software, is too small. Compare to sizes in the main playing panel. If I make everything larger by increasing zoom, the left box is too large. Need setting. This makes new system much less pleasurable to use. Fundamentally I have to think to focus and click, in old system everything was large enough to make it facter and more intuitive to use. Remember average ago of bridge players is not the 30 year old software developer.
