What do you think about the point count used by robots? They are: J=1, Q=2, K=4, A=8. So AJ=8+1=9, AKQ=8+4+1=13, etc. It might be a quicker way to evaluate the strength of a hand. Perhaps this way of counting might abide by the actual force of high cards (we know that in the 1234 system the Ace is underevaluated).
