How soon we forget. The first computer bridge site failed because it "rated" players (but not very accurately). The result was maddening. It became almost impossible to sit down to a normal bridge session with three strangers because everyone was hyper-concerned with their "rating". They were gone in a second if they sensed the game would lower their "rating". With considerable background effort it was possible to come up with reasonable rating just for one person. I once did this for "The G-Man". No surprise as to the result.
A simple way to get some benefit is to answer Stayman normally in your 5 card major. If partner raises, use your own judgement. If partner bids 2NT, bid 3 of your major with a good minnie and 3♣ or ♦ with more and a fragment in the bid suit. You can make this up at the table. What else could it be? OK. Maybe you open one NT with a minor suit six bagger once in a while. Now repeating the major at the three level has to show a little extra.
About the only possible bids are 4♥ and 5♥. The latter could lead to down one. Much as I like 5♥, I might bid only 4♥ depending on the form of the game, how the day was going, and who is vul. With a weak pard, 4♥ for sure.
