  1. Well, NS didnt really have a agreement about 2H. South thought after 2C ”Transfers was off” and bid 2H as natural. North thought after 2C ”transfers was ON”. So i don’t know.
  2. [hv=pc=n&s=sqt6hjt653dt53c98&w=sa984h9dq9842ct65&n=s52h842dak76cakq4&e=skj73hakq7djcj732&d=s&v=b&b=7&a=pp1n2c2hp2sppp]399|300[/hv] 2 ♣ = Majors 2 ♥ = North thought it was transfer to spades. South bid it as natural. Altough, no alert was giving on 2♣, therefore south bid 2♥ as natural because he thought 2♣ was natural. North thought 2♥ was transfer and accepted the transfer by bidding ♠. 2♠ by North went 3 down. TD ruled it to 2♠ 1 down played by East. Double dummy says 2♠ by EW is makable (8 tricks) Is this the correct ruling? How should you rule when there are 2 mistakes of alert (one by North, one by West). Should it be ruled 2S just made? Or the average score (2♠ down one)?.
  3. Thanks for your reply! Yup, i guess it seems tho that the heart finess have some better chances than the double finess in diamonds. What is the percentage that west have D10 and diamond honour? I heard that the Diamond finess (D10 and DQ/DK on west) have 6% better chances than the heart finess or play hearts 3-3. Is that correct?
  4. It went: 1C - 1S 1NT* - 2C* 2H - 3D 3H - 4C 4H - 5D 5H - 6S 1NT was balance 15-17 2C was Roudi 2H was min and 3-card support
  5. [hv=pc=n&s=sk95hakt8d654ckq5&n=saqj42h765daj92ca]133|200[/hv] You end up in 6♠ and get a club lead. What is the best line of play?
  6. Hi all! Me and my partner have just started playing weak NT with transfers on 1C. 1NT: 11-13 NV/ 14-16 V We decided that after 1C -1D/H we accept the transfer with 14-16 balanced, and bid 1NT with 17-19. However, after 1C - 1D and 2S from RHO, we have some problems describing our hands. We have on some level decided that (after 2S): Pass = 14-16 Double = 3 card support 2NT = 17-19 3H = 4 card support, 11-13 What to do with, say, the weak unbalanced club hand? Bid 3C? Is this style playable or are we missing something? Thanks!
  7. Thanks! This seems really good!! For the 25-27 bal you could have the 2NT rebid after 2D-2H; show 25-27. Or maybe use Kokish relay to show 25-27 in the 2C opening.
  8. What should the 2NT rebid be after 2D- 2H:? Just GF with D or anything else? I really like that structure you had seen. After 2C - 2D; All rebids on 3 level is natural but with clubs as the primary suit; so 2C-2D; 3H shows 4H and 5C?
  9. Hi! I've seen some elite players play Multi as either weak in a major or GF with diamonds. The rebid showing diamonds (normally) after 2C - 2D; 3D has another meaning playing Multi with strong D and i think this has a lot of benefits. I'm trying to figure out a structure for me and my partner for both the 2D Multi bid showing GF with diamonds and also the rebid after 2C - 2D; 3D. The structure i have come up to; 2C - 2D; 3D = 5+D + 4S 3H = 5+D + 4H I think having the hand 2524 or 2542 is pretty awkward so this makes it easier, i think. 2D - 2H; 2NT = Showing GF with D (Maybe you can add some more GF hands in, like; 3C = Diamonds with clubs 3H = Diamonds with singleton heart 3S = Diamonds with singleton spade I'm having trouble finding a reasonable continuation after these rebids. Is my structure even good? Do you experts have any input on these sequences? Thanks!
  10. 4441 can maybe be open with 1 club (11-13 balance or 4441) or in the 2d opening (5d+ or 4441, 10-13)
  11. Hi all! I started thinking of an idea. I’ve heard lots of good things of fantunes 1D opening, how it is the most succesful of all fantunes opening bids. In a natural system, playing 5542 with unbalanced Diamond, what if you switch with Fantunes 1D opening, showing 14+ unbalanced, 4+ diamonds, and have a 10-13 2D opening with 5+ diamonds? So the opening scheme should be like this: 1C: natural/11-13/17-19 1D: 14+ unbalanced, 4+ D 1H/S: 5+, 1NT: 14-16 2C: GF/20-21NT/weak D 2D: 10-13, 5+ D 2NT: 22-24 It might work really well, what you guys think?
  12. Thank you all for your responses! We play like Fromage said, natural, rebidding 1nt with singelton/void in partners suit, raising with 3cards and so on. What i like to have is some sort of simple gazilli structure over 1D, i dont know if it suits so well playing standard tho. Anyway, thanks for all the tips and ideas!
  13. Hi everyone! Me and my partner have just started playing transfers over our ♣opening (5542). Our ♣ opening can be either 11-13 nt, 17-19nt or natural. Our ♦ opening is always unbalanced and at the moment we have the same structure we had before, the 1Nt rebid by opener is somewhat 11-14ish unbalanced. I have seen some playing the 1nt rebid as clubs or maybe some sort of gazilli. One sequence i thought about was 1D - 1X; 1 NT = (showing clubs + diamonds). We usually play XYZ after this sequence but i think the 1nt rebid losing its purpose because you can't stop in either 2C or 2D. I don't know actually. We want some sort of easy and in the same way somewhat advanced structure after our ♦opening. What's your tips and tricks and what is the easiest way to play? Thanks!
