  1. Tp me, it would be much better if the system was set up so that the bidding for the hand remained present as the hand was being played. It is now only present for 2 or 3 seconds, max. It is difficult to memorize the bidding in this time period. If I had more time to see what the biddding was, I would be able to make my bids and play my hand better. Dave Mulligan 1mullida
  2. I have a bunch of saved hands for the various type of game situations such as 3NT, 4 of a Major, 5 of a major or minor, 6NT and 6 of a Suit bid, etc. I have at least 50 of these hands in each of these categories. However, in Partial Game situations where the score would be 1NT or 2Hearts or 2 Spades, or 3 Hearts or 4 Diamonds etc. I only have about 15 hands. That is not enough for me to get expert in the Declarer play part of playing partial hands. So, I'm trying to save the partial hands from the daylong tournaments here in BBO to do that. I am unable to figure out how to use the system in order to do that. I can't do several things including: 1. I can't create a Partial hand file to which I can transfer these hands. How do I do that? 2. I can't save the partial hands from the daylong tournaments to a file. How do I do that? I hope someone can help me to do this and I would appreciate all the help I can get on this? Dave Mulligan 1mullida
  3. I was play8ing in a bridge solitaire tournament and was suddenly disconnected from the website. I just had a white screen like what you have here in the comments section of this form. Can you help and get me reconnected from the website. I have tried and keep getting a screen that says to contact support@bridgebase.com. I have done that and I am still not connected. 1mullida Dave Mulligan
  4. I have had the experience of Opening a 1 Club bid when I had 13 or 14 High Card Points and 4 spades, 4 hearts, 3 diamonds and 2 clubs. I want to tell my partner that I have 13 points but I do not want to get stuck in 1 Club if no one else bids. The same problem occurs with an Opening 1 Diamond bid when I have 3 diamonds with the same distribution as I already indicated. Is there any known method of dealing with this issue between yourself and partner .so that you don't get stuck in a 1 Club or 1 Diamond bid with only 2 or 3 cards in those suits? Thx 1mullida
  5. I am a member of a bridge club and I have hands that I would like to be able to rebid and replay so that I get the max score out of them. I have imported a number of hands that I played at my bridge club into the BBO hand editor. It's no problem to build them and put them in the system. The problem is that I can't play them. With the hands that are generated within BBO there is no problem doing this. Has anyone else faced this problem and solved it in BBO so that you can play these hands that are generated originally outside of BBO??? It would be a big help to me. Thanks in advance 1mullida
  6. ] play at my local bridge club and would like to be able to import some of those hands to the BBO hand editor so that I can replay them and learn how to get the best bidding and card play to achieve the highest possible score with those hands. Currently I can create the hands on the hand editor but it will not permit me to play the hands. Has anyone else faced this situation and been able to solve this problem? If so, please let me know. 7. I'm a Bilbridge new member. I signed up so that I could take free classes that were listed in the bilbridge website. Specifically, I signed up for the class given by Cornelia Yoder "Tracking and Counting" - card counting which started today at 2PM. I haven't been able to figure out how it is connected to Bridgebaseonline but it appears to be. It is given by Cornelia on Listen2MyRadio.com. Has anyone taken any of these classes and, if so, can you help me out in getting connected with Cornielia? Also Bilbridge.com states that they have teaching tournaments that are conducted on bridgebaseonline. I'd like to sign up for these teaching tournaments. Is there anyone else out there who is a member of Bilbridge.com (it costs $45 per year) that can help me with registering and getting in to these teaching tournaments? 1 mullida
