I've played with some robot bidding that leaves me scratching my head: Opponents silent -- 1D-2D-2S-"2NT, says the robot with Qx of hearts," and opponents take five hearts off the top when I bid 3NT with my 16 HCPs and singleton heart. The robot bidding is so frustrating sometimes.
The only possibility here is if diamonds split 3-3. You can play diamonds three times, and as long as they don't get two clubs first, you'll make nine tricks. If diamonds don't split 3-3, you won't make it on the club J lead, even if clubs are ideally placed.
