I play a hand as S against three GIBs. The results are in, and I'm the the first -- no other results yet. A few minutes later, upon refresh, another result comes in. S bids as I did, but the GIB at W bids differently at the two tables. Assuming there was no GIB upgrade in the intervening few minutes, is there a reasonable explanation? If the pseudo-random seed is the same, as I've been told, then each GIB in each seat at the two tables should run the same simulations and make the same bids (for the same GIB version). One explanation would be if it took that many minutes to load older results (from an older GIB version), but that seems unlikely to me.

I might have an easier time editing the bible than convincing my English teacher about the duality. Thanks for the replies. :)

The Prime Club is advertised as where to go to find the friendlier players. Upon arrival, everyone is playing against robots. So rather than being a social club, my impression is it's a GIB discount club. Am I missing something?

When appropriate, the "People" tab displays, "None of the members you are following are currently online". The subject, "None", is singular, so it should read, "None of the members you are following is currently online". However, this noun is almost always treated as plural these days, so some might argue that the grammar rules should catch up to contemporary usage. I told you it was a nit.

Than you for your reply. I was seeking to spark a general discussion about how much time one might need to plan on investing in order to reach a rarefied strata. I wasn't asking an admin to run a database query. Perhaps my question could somehow have been worded differently.

What is your estimation of how much time (either total hours or percentage of free time) is spent by players who have accumulated 10,000 to 20,000 BBO Masterpoints?
