Hello Friends I dont understand this TCR rate thing. One day I am on 90% and the next day it gets down to 88% even though I have played a couple of tourneys. My questions : 1. How is TCR calculated? 2. How often is the calculation done? 3. I have never ever abandoned any tourn, still why doesnt it show as 100%? 4. If I lose connection and cant log in back soon, am then substituted. Does this give negative points? 5. Same for Board Completion Rate. I have never abandoned a game. I always leave after announcing at table. Then why does my BCR show 96%? I always leave after the next hand hand is dealt but before I bid. Can someone please explain these concepts in detail? Or give a link to some previous discussion here on Forums? I am sure am not the 1st one to ask this ? Thank you all and have a nice day Kamal

Meanwhile, is it possible to send a chat message to Club when playing in a public/private club? It's a very useful feature that's missing or have I missed something out? Thanks for your help. Thanks for the new version, I am quite comfortable with it. Just a couple of things 1. Chat - can't scroll. Guess it's been discussed elsewhere too 2. When playing in a Club, can chat to Club. No option for this. S can't invite players who are kibitzing in the Club. 3. The scores columns don't show + - tricks so when reviewing I can't see how many overtricks or otherwise. 4. To log out, have to hit many back buttons 5. If I want to sub in a tourney, have to send a personal chat to host of that tourn, who is sometimes offline as TDs are conducting. Then have to look for TDs names and send them a private chat. 6. Notes for friends can't be added in their profiles I see These are what I've noticed. And again, maybe there's something I am not using right. If someone could pls explain? The screen layout is nice. Thanks to Team BBO. Best wishes

Hello All I need some help regarding TCR. I dont play in many tourneys and over the past few months didnt play any. In Jan 2014 I played 12 tiourneys that qualify for TCR and in Feb over past 4 days I've played in about 6. Still my TCR on profile shows "Unknown" and I am blocked in many of the tourneys that I used to enjoy playing in before this new rule came in. And I have never abandoned any tourney ever and not been blacklisted ever either. How many tourneys do I have to play in to qualify for 80% or 90% TCR? Is it like one has to play at least a tourney a day consistently? Can someone pls help? Thanks and best wishes to all

Fred and Team BBO, thank you very much for this super App and the update from yesterday. Can't thank you enough for this. I am fully mobile now, literally. Playing on BBO is so much fun as it is, only gets better with this. Was traveling and a gent at airport could not believe I was playing bridge LIVE on my IPad. Hello I have been posting my queries at this forum and get excellent responses. And very prompt too. Great to learn and improve. I usually post a specific problem/hand with full details of my own as well as as pd's and opps' skill level, vul (Red/White), scoring (IMPs/MPs), Leads, etc. This helps the Experts here to respond to the query in specific terms. And I have found this Forum extremely useful. I would feel its very difficult for them to be able to generalise their comments/answers that fit every problem or specific situations that we Beg/Int often find ourselves in. Sometimes I feel my queries are so basic that it would seem silly to even post them here, but the responses are so detailed in every case, its really heartening. Just keep posting :) Regards Kamal

We play any X over 2♠ level is for penalty. So I guess under our present agreement I have to bid game from my end? Guess we have to look up MOD. Thanks

After invite, could pd bid 4 with 9HCP? 3. Most bid game and we also made 4 May sound very elementary but I just cant figure out when to invite / bid game :rolleyes: All suggestions welcome. Thanks, I suppose this is easier for us at Intermediate/Advancing Inter level. Now I have 2 further queries. We often mess up even after having established trumps in minor suits. We either play in 3 level and miss 5 or play in 5 missing slam. Or often blindly bid 5/6. So then : 1. 3♥/ 3♠ is not cue bids, right? Just a slam showing interest? How do you take it forward after 3♥/3♠? 2. Playing reg BW what next? and playing RKC1430 whats next? Sorry, I know these are too many queries but glad this topic came up as we seem lost in minor games/slams. If you suggest can post a fresh topic if this thread gets messed with the somewhat unrelated queries. Thanks. Kamal

JJ thank you very much for detailed expl. We've tried but often realised we shd be in 2NT. Minors giving problems :) I guess I will have to 'construct' a hand and once again see how to go about it as per your expl. Thanks again. Kamal
