Counters of HCP really would avoid a slam on these NS hands, but IMO one should always listen to the bidding, which makes slam in this case very much worth while. North should be declarer in any slam, and that's why transfer responses should be deployed after (such) strong preemptive bidding. 'Raising partner's suit' is not very helpful anymore, when the bidding is already that high.
