  1. Thank you for your prompt and detailed response. Much appreciated!
  2. So, your local "live" club is now running on BBO. That club offered occasional team games, very popular, fully sanctioned, etc. My question: Is it possible, and if so, how easy is it to turn a semi-weekly MPoint game into a once-in-a-while IMP/VP team game that is both scored by BBO and ACBL-sanctioned? Thanks for any advice or information you can offer!
  3. Thank you for steering me to the correct schedule.
  4. Were there not, quite recently, 18-board ACBL Pairs games (a) IMP scoring and/or (b) earlier in the day than EDT prime time? Seems to me that there were, but the latest version of the ACBL Tournament Schedule is much more sparse in these regards than I recall. Either that, or I'm just getting too old and my memory's gone. (Sadly, equally probable.) Thanks in advance for any up-to-date information/confirmation/clarification someone can provide.
  5. Is there a way to save and/or export hands from a bidding table? My partner and I would like to be able to go over the auctions after our session, so that we can discuss the hands at our leisure. Other than screen captures and saving the images, I don't know of any other method. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  6. In instant tournaments, "mechanical errors," such as someone with shaky hands clicking pass on the way to a bid, cannot be undone. (If it can, I am unaware of it.) I understand the problem of letting players rethink an action before changing it, but purely inadvertent errors? Just today, this auction arose: 1NT (me) - P - 2C - P - P!!! On the way to bidding 2S, I somehow clicked on the pass icon. End of story, withdraw from the tournament (iMPs, 2C in a 2-2 versus 4S, vul!), pay your money again, and start over! Surely there is some way to build into the software a short "undo" before the activation of a bidding choice? A single second would have been enough in a case like this.
  7. You take me back 40 years, to a time when my regular partner and I also played Super Precision, and also would not open 1NT with two 4-card majors, let alone a 5-card major!
  8. Thanks. I like this a lot, especially if I can get my partner, who won't give up 3m invitations, to adopt mss 2S and Puppet 2NT.
  9. Very helpful, thanks. Unfortunately, I can't convince any of my partners to try Gazzilli, which I like, too.
  10. Like others here, I'd be very interested in your variation. Please do post it soon!
  11. That's a good suggestion, even better if we were a more frequent pair.
