Two hands from recent BBO that were a worry (1) RHO opened 1NT....with my balanced 13 count I passed...Pass from LHO ...Pard with balanced 12 count Passed....We made 10 tricks for Plus 400 no swing because of vulnerability but we could have been vulnerable and opener non vul resulting in a big loss....is there any answer? (2) RHO opened 1S.....I passed with my x Jxxxxx xx Aqxx.....LHO 2S....Pard with xxx AQx Qx Kxxxx also passed another bad result...What is the answer? Thanks to all that respond

Playing against bots and in third position my right hand bot opened 1NT with five Spades and five Clubs and a nine count....with my balanced 15 count I passed and missed a game in hearts..... are they programmed to psyche Jaqpm

What is the general opinion of the requirements for a super accept after Jacoby Trs 1/a maximum with 3 trumps or 4 any quality 2/ a maximum with 3 good trumps or 4 good trumps

In game situations (2/1,4th suit) I like to invert the meaning of Nt, so that 2NT is stronger than 3NT.so with this hand after 2D I would have bid 2NT showing 14+ and pard could ask for strength with 3C..replying up the line with 14-15.16-17.18+ and after ascertaing 32 HCP would have tried for Slam. does anyone think this has merit..I call it saab (slow arrival asking bid)
