  1. I completely disagree in 3rd and 4th I'd open almost all 11 counts and in 1st and 2nd any 11 count with a five card suit should be opened even if you have singleton honors
  2. 100% should open. If you get the likely 1♠ response after 1♣, you have the easiest 2♣ rebid in the world. Often find that in those auctions you have some number of NT on and you opening the bidding will help you get there. If all your values lie in hearts then you could even consider opening 1H with 4
  3. Often find these kind of situations. One that frequently pops up is the "Singleton" conundrum which is when at trick one the partner leads and dummy comes down and has a singleton and before declarer even has time to call for a card the other defender has played saying "There was no other card to play." I personally think that declarer needs that time to think and often needs leads and signals info before he is ready to play. So in my opinion players playing out of turn should be penalized
  4. 1430 is generally played more often by the top pairs. Straight Blackwood is definitely not the way to progress and 3014 makes it tougher for you to find out about the queen after the 5♦ response when the agreed suit is ♥, whereas in 1430 if partner responds 5♦ showing 0 key cards that generally isn't the response you were hoping for and you just sign out.
  5. I feel that Minorwood and Kickback, often create confusion and clog the memory for even above average players so a good idea is to focus on the main that has a high frequency. It is often just a good idea in auctions like 1♣ - 2/3♣ - 4♣, 4D/H/S are Cue Bids and 4NT initiates a keycard sequence.
