I think no matter what lead you got, the play is basically the same. Your chance relies on ♦3-3 or same opponent holding 4♦ and 3♣, at last you still need to guess ♠ right. ♣AK, ♦AKQ, ruff 4th♦ if not 3-3, return to hand, clear last trump, and guess ♠.
I hope i'm qualifed as intermediate player, so i will answer this one: Win ♥A, then finesse ♣J, if i can win 5 ♣ tricks i need only 3 tricks in ♦, otherwise i will try to get all 4 ♦ tricks
Full hand is: [hv=n=sakxxxhxxdkqjxcxx&w=sxxhaqjxxdxxxcaxx&e=sjtxhxxxdatckjxxx&s=sqxxhktxdxxxxcqxx]399|300|[/hv] 2H is final contrtact, We can make 2S, they can make 3H, but they may not compete to 3 level if i bid 2S. I feel i'm wrong on this one because so many think 2S is automatic.
[hv=d=s&v=n&n=sqtxxxxhjxdjcqxxx&s=saj98hktxxxxdatcx]133|200|Scoring: IMP[/hv] 1H-(DBL)-1S-(2C) 3S -(4D) -4S-(5D) Pa -(Pa) -DBL I'm North, without much prior discussion, but i believe my partner's pass of 5D is forcing. Although not any defense value, i still choosed dbl, because i don't think we can make 5S. Am i correct?
[hv=s=sqxxhktxdxxxxcq9x]133|100|[/hv] NV against VUL (1H)-1S-(2H)-? Will you bid 2S, is it automatic? At the table i passed, because i don't want my partner to compete too much. And if LHO pass 2H, i believe partner will reenter auction at balancing seat if he has right hand. Do i think right or totally wrong?
