I wonder if you can work out what your posts imply, mycroft and, among other more important things that I'll abstain commenting on, looking only at how the amusing part was bypassed, including my terrible play, I feel I don't belong here, bye
interesting ... were I not the only one exposed for public shame? ... I better keep my mouth shut or who knows what metamorphoses might take place instead of regular full moon
hand →TD (Private): may I ask why B8 adjusted? 2/1 is what we were playing and 2D is not GF but still not good enough for it I think (but not sure so that's why I posted :) I also think that partner could show a better than a minimum hand (invitational+) with 3C. This being said, my partner's rebid was 4H :) now what?
X was my call at the table (evaluated my hand as not good enough for 2♦ bid), planning to: Pass 2♥, show ♦ if partner rebids his suit or compete in ♦ if opponents are insisting on ♣
I would adventure to say that by default (without any specific agreement) X shows a 4+ spade suit (may have 5+ spades if very weak) and 1S is promising 5+ spades. Being a PH doesn't change much except that you have an upper bound. Am I missing something?
